Over twenty-four hours passed, and there was still no response from the empires' side.

Those were some nerve-wracking moments for humanity as they didn't know what was going to happen next.

Fortunately, the Goddess of Luck seemed to smile at them and blessed their eyes with the beautiful image of the retreating spaceships that once loomed over their world.

'Well, I guess that was the best decision they could take.' Thought Lux after being the first one to witness the changes brought by his earlier little stunt.

"You did a good job; I never expected you to use that guy's body that way, though... Disgusting."

Lydia, same as always, both praised and insulted Lux.

It seemed that Lux wasn't the only one with a special second ability...

"You did great, Lux! Now those guys won't dare to come on Earth anymore because they are too afraid of you!"

Lux was both happy but also annoyed.

He still wanted to conquer those three empires.
