Kapitel 101: A glimpse of the dreams - Part 2

Irene felt the shift in the air the moment the words left her lips. It was tense, felt dangerous and screamed murderous. She did not have to lift her eyes to know Kieran's expression. His entire aura had changed at once and he felt daunting and devilish. His hold around her waist had tightened and if there was any possibility of him not being angry shattered the instant he pulled her close to him until she was seated on his lap, her legs dangling on one side.

"What did you just say?"

Irene gulped when she heard his low, twisted and livid voice. Someone was going to have it for sure. But who?

"I..." Irene licked her lips and fidgeted on his lap, trying to get away from him. 

But Kieran just yanked her arm pulling her back to him until she was flush against his chest. He looked at her, his eyes darker than ever as he waited for her reply patiently.
