The Goddess Adonaios had triumphed over the Twins of the Firmament, spilling their blood over the nearby waters to give birth to the Flickering Sea." 

"You Profaners are quite informed," Vincentius whistled. "Though it is expected of the Domed City's scholars. Yet, it irks me that you would persist in your blasphemy whilst fully aware of the Gods Beyond's glory." 

He passed a hand over his dark red hair, dismissive of Nefer-pu's intense glare.
