The conversation went on for hours, Sango and Avidius drafting out plans and workings that would prepare them in response to any hasty decisions made by the chapel of the nine Gods.

No matter how much time they took on it, it was not something that could easily be decided upon. At the end of the day, the matter was extended with a duration of until one of them comes to a reasonable conclusion.

For now, Sango has given his word that he will do what he can to help from his side when needed.

There was also not much for Avidius to think about. He is an emperor and an open face-off with the chapel of the nine Gods is not a matter that he alone can decide on.

As someone who is protective of those around him to the point that he has become selfless and self-centered, he understands that to go up against the chapel of the nine Gods, help is needed from as many as possible.
