Kapitel 21: God With No Rival

"this is pointless".

Getha was fed up with doing nothing but hunt the wild dogs while Sango just sits there, not moving a muscle of his body as he concentrates his thoughts on something else.

Getha moved closer to complain to him about how displeased she is to continue hunting for wild dogs when she has demonstrated that they no longer pose a legible threat to her.

Without even getting the chance to use her class skill, Getha was already able to take down the wild dogs with just the strength gotten from her stats.

"what is....."

Sango brought himself back from his troubled mind that seems to have gotten nowhere to figuring out what he did in his past life, or how he truly ended up being sealed, or if truly everything about Getha's story is what really happened to him.

He turned his gaze to the side where an angry glare was being directed at him from Getha.

"why do I have to keep doing this? Is it not high time that I face a different opponent now".

Sango said it himself that what the beginner Getha is in need of, is raising her attribute stats. How is she going to be able to do that if all she does is hunt down beasts that are below her level and also only give out measly experience points that only raises her level by a sizeable unit despite her hunting a lot of them.

If Sango were to increase the rank of the beasts she goes up against, she will not only be challenging herself by facing a stronger opponents and testing her limits to its full potential, she will also be able to raise her level faster, going by what he told her.

Sango made it known to her that through fighting with higher rank opponents, she will be able to get more experience points from them and level up faster.

If that is the case, why isn't he giving her opponents that would make her level go up faster, and instead pitting her against low rank opponents?

"kid. You seem to be overestimating yourself".

Sango got up from where he sat and turned dhis whole body to face her with his eyes looking down at her.

"come on, I want you to attack me".

He says, leaving himself open and his body unguarded.

Even if that were to be the case, Getha knew there is no way she would be able to take him on, not now, and frankly, she is not certain if she ever will be strong enough to accomplish that.

"what are you waiting for? I said attack me, do it with everything you have got".

His expression was strict showing her that he wasn't trying to sound funny or entertain her bored ego.

Getha with the ice dagger in her hand, hurried herself in his direction to do as he asked.

She ran toward him and swung down the dagger, aiming to stab it through his side stomach.

Before she could succeed, Sango caught her hand that was holding unto the ice dagger and sprained it until she let go of the dagger in pain.

With his other hand, he smacked her on the face sending her flying a far distance from where he was.

"again".

He picks up the ice dagger from the floor and threw it at her, prompting her to attack him a second time.

Getha hesitantly picked up the ice dagger from the floor and made her way for a rematch against him.

Tbis time, he caught her hand that was holding the ice dagger and used it to lift her body off the ground before delivering a blow to her stomach.

"blergh!!!!!!!"

The blow hit Getha hard and was forced to vomit out white substance from her mouth.

Sango once again threw away her body, sending her to crash on the wall before tumbling down, this time still having the ice dagger in her palm.

"again".

She was already aware that she would be no match against Sango in the first place, what she did not expect was how brutal Sango would be to her.

"this is unfair".

Getha was barely able to stand up the second time after being punched in the stomach.

Even though it was obvious that he was holding back by a considerable lot, it still hurts a lot.

What is the point of getting herself up and charging at him only to end up getting brutally knocked down? Where is the lesson in that?

"what is the matter? I thought you said you wanted to face off with stronger being? You have one standing in front of you, so what is stopping you from engaging".

Getha thought Sango did not understand what she meant by stronger, and the difference between that and an opponent that is impossible to beat.

"i wanted a stronger opponent, not you. How do you expect me to face you and come out victorious".

"i don't, and that is the lesson I want you to learn".

Getha had gotten so full of herself after being able to easily fight the wild dogs without any stress taken.

That moment of victory have clouded her thoughts and deluded her into thinking that she is ready for something stronger.

She is, but Sango won't let her, because she never got the point he was trying to make when he made her fight against the wild dog.

"when you faced the wild dogs, what were you thinking of? What methods did you come up with to go up against it".

Getha was not really thinking. All she knew she had to do, is kill the wild dog so she can level up, that is all.

What is she supposed to think about when fighting against an opponent that can be easily taken down by her who is far stronger than it?

"despite knowing what your stat level is, and how stronger you are compared to the wild dogs, do you not question why I still had you fight against it, and why I did not immediately pick up an opponent worthy of your stats for you to go against".

Getha did not understand how Sango expects her to know what sort of thoughts runs through the mind of a God with no rival.
