Kapitel 9: CHAPTER 9: THE FIDELITAS ACADEMY
The next day,
Benito regained his consciousness. Alex recovered after he got enough rest.
"I heard you healed me. I'm so grateful to you for saving my life, Lady Ignacia" Alex said, gratefully.
"We might die for real if you're not here, Lady Ignacia" Lucas said, gratefully.
"I'm sorry I'm so helpless to you," Benito said, regretfully.
"It's all right," Ignacia said.
"What about that vampire?" Benito asked.
"She could escape after I tortured her," Ignacia said, "I'm really sorry to say that the other team were killed by ordo demons. There is no demon king but demon queen. The demon queen and five ordo demons are residing deep inside the Pinus Forest. I think we got enough information. It's better for us to go back. It's not a good idea if you want to go any further. You were badly hurt just one of them attacked you."
"I agree. Just think about last night," Lucas said, anxiously.
"I agree with you. I thought I couldn't make it last night," Alex said, anxiously.
"All right. Let's go back to the inn first," Benito said.
We went back to the inn in the outskirts of Occidens to get more rest, then went back to the capital in the next day.
In Theodora's office,
"Did you get anything?" Theodora asked Benito.
"We encountered vampire, one of ordo demons and Alex was badly hurt, Ma'am" Benito said, guiltily.
"I got some information after I caught and tortured that vampire. There is no demon king but demon queen. The demon queen and five ordo demons are residing deep inside Pinus Forest but we could not see their castle because the demon queen cast spell on it to make it invisible. So, I recommend your team to come back because it's too dangerous for them. For another team of yours, they were killed by ordo demons. That's why they did not come back," Ignacia said.
"I see," said Theodora sadly.
"I don't know who is your customer but if they really want to kill the demon queen, they must be in high type at least, or else they will die for sure," Ignacia said, "and this is my last job as a mercenary. I will not do any job until I graduated from the academy." She hurriedly told her before she asked her for more help.
"Thank you for your information. I really appreciate all the help you gave us. I will return your favor someday," said Theodora gratefully.
"All right. I will take my leave," Ignacia said and left. She teleported back to The Oriens Castle.
"She saved our lives. She's very skilled, Ma'am" Benito said after Ignacia left.
"I like her as well. Keep a good relationship with her," Theodora said.
"Yes, Ma'am" Benito said and left.

3 months passed after Ignacia came back from the last job as a mercenary, she was studying with private tutors 5 days a week in the past 3 months.
She remembered that she ordered Katana Sword and it was over the promising time. She teleported to Occidens to meet Fernando in his smithy.
"Oh, you came, Lady. I finished your sword 2 weeks ago," Fernando said. He went to pick Katana Sword and handed it to her. "Try to use it with your magic power."
Ignacia and Fernando went outside. She activated 'Fire Magic' on Katana Sword, then slashed the tree nearby.
The tree was cut off neatly and burned with fire.
"Great! It's not broken," said Ignacia pleasantly.
"I made a masterpiece for you. I used Mythril Ore, dragon horn, and dragon scale to make it. Apart from that, I installed the dragon magic stones on the guard to stabilize the magic power. It will help you to use sword with magic power more effectively," said Fernando proudly.
"You're the best. I really like it. How much does it cost?" Ignacia asked, pleasantly.
"It costs 200 gold coins. You had paid 100 gold coins, so you pay me another 100 gold coins," Fernando said.
Ignacia paid him 100 gold coins.
"If there was any problem, you can come back anytime, Lady" said Fernando nicely.
"All right," Ignacia said and left.
Ignacia teleported to Tempestas Forest. She walked through the wood, looking for the monsters. She wanted to test Katana Sword with the real fight.
She encountered with 'Black Wyvern', a biped dragon, with two legs, two wings, and poisonous, pointed tail.
Black Wyvern sensed something coming in it way. It looked at the way where Ignacia was walking. It was ready to attack her with its horn.
Ignacia activated 'Lightning Magic' to hit its body, paralyzing its movement, then activated 'Fire Magic' on Katana Sword. She teleported to its back, then cut off its head very quickly.
<Katana is the best!> She thought to herself. She could kill the high level of monster easier.
She kept the body of black wyvern in 'Magic Space'. She would earn a lot of money from selling its body.

Time passed to the day of the entrance exam.
'The Fidelitas Academy' is the first-class academy in Mirarus Empire which is located in The Capital, close to The Royal Castle. It was the academy that accepted the applicants who were in medium, high, and rare type. The applicants must take the exams in standard knowledge, the skill which related to their own magic attributes, and the optional skills or advance knowledge. They chose the applicants who passed the entrance exam with the highest scores at top 300 ranking in each year.
Ignacia went to register and report herself at the registered area. She got the number '0195', then walked direct to the room to take the standard knowledge exam. She received the examination papers and finished all the questions within an hour.
She handed all her papers to the professor, then walked out of the room. She went to test the magic skill of 'Magus' in the field next.
"Use all of your power to attack the target," One of professors said.
Ignacia activated 'Fire Magic' to shoot at the target.
'Boom' there was a loud sound after Ignacia attacked the target. The magic barrier cracked and broke.
All the professors were in state of shock.
The scoreboard showed the result with 1,000 points, the maximum points of magic power testing. Normally, the people who make 250 points will past the test. The average of test scores in the past was 300 - 350 points.
"It's amazing. You broke the records as well as the magic barrier," one of professors said, surprisingly.
"Can you show us your type?" another professor said.
Ignacia activated magic power on her hand showing the symbol to all the professors.
"Oh…you're in rare type," one of professors said.
"All right. You can go for the next test," another professor said.
Ignacia walked to another field which used for testing swordsmanship. She saw a swordsman having a mock fight with a boy. She went to register and wait for the examiners to call her.
"No.0195" an examiner announced.
Ignacia walked into the field. She was on guard and observed the movements from a swordsman.
"Attack me," a swordsman said.
Ignacia attacked him fiercely. She won the fight at the third hit.
"Pass," one of examiner said.
"You are very skilled," a swordsman said and smiled at her.
All the people in the field looked at her, surprisingly.
Ignacia walked out of the field and went back to Virtusarium Manor.
"How was your test, Igna?" Felix asked eagerly.
"It's easy, Dad" said Ignacia nicely.
"I knew you can do it," said Felix proudly.
"When will we know the exam results, Igna?" Isabella asked.
"Next week, Mom" said Ignacia, smilingly.

A week later,
Felix, Isabella, and Ignacia went to The Fidelitas Academy to check the exam results.
People clustered around the noticeboard to read the exam results.
"What's your number, Igna?" Felix asked.
"0195, Dad" Ignacia said.
We tried to look on the noticeboard for a while but we did not find the number 0195.
"Are you sure about your number, Igna?" Felix asked, nervously.
"Yes, I'm sure, Dad" said Ignacia firmly. She wondered why she did not see her number on the noticeboard.
"Look! There is another board. It showed the number for the top 5," a girl said.
Felix, Isabella, and Ignacia hurriedly went to look at that board. Her number and name showed at the first ranking.
"Congratulation, Igna" said Isabella happily.
"I'm very proud of you, Igna" said Felix happily. He patted her head.
"Thank you, Mom, Dad" said Ignacia happily. She was glad that she could pass the entrance exam as the intention of her parents. She wanted to do something in return for their favor that they always gave to her all this time.
A few day later,
Felix and Isabella must go back to The Oriens Castle. They could not leave there for long.
Ignacia saw them off.
"Take care of yourself, Igna" Isabella said and hugged her.
"Yes, Mom" Ignacia said and hugged her back.
"Keep this badge. Use it when you want to buy anything, Igna" said Felix kindly. He handed her Virtusarium Badge which has the symbol of balance scales at the center and the two lions jumping into the balance scales from both side on it.
"Thank you, Dad" Ignacia said.
"Go back to The Oriens Castle when you have time, Igna" said Isabella kindly.
"Yes, Mom" Ignacia said.
"All right. We should go now, Honey" Felix told Isabella.
"Have a safe trip, Dad, Mom" Ignacia said.
Ignacia went back to her room and prepared herself for the first day at the academy. She looked at her academy uniform, white suit with gold buttons, white blouse, blue, knee-length skirt, and black tights. She thought that she must endure to wear it for the next 3 years.
The next day, it was the first day of the first semester of The Fidelitas Academy.
The academy was holding the entrance ceremony in the morning.
Ignacia skipped the entrance ceremony and went to the garden instead. She walked far away from the building until she saw a boy lying on the ground under the shade of tree.
She silently walked to another way to avoid him.
"Lady Ignacia, the one who is in the rare type," Maximus said. He got up after he saw Ignacia.
Ignacia ignored him and kept walking to the other way but Maximus followed her and talked to her.
"Don't you want to ask me why I knew you, Lady?" Maximus asked.
"No," Ignacia said. She wanted to leave but Maximus wanted to talk to her more. She used 'The Eye of Truth' to see his intention.
"I'm sorry for introducing myself late. I'm Maximus Magnarus, a second son of The Duke of Magnarus. It's a pleasure to meet you, Lady Ignacia" said Maximus politely.
<I want to know her more. She's beautiful. I might have a chance.> there were the true words popped up in Ignacia's mind.
"Aha," said Ignacia irritably.
"Oh, you're so cold, Lady Ignacia" said Maximus gently.
<Will she hate me? I should approach her more slowly.> there were the true words popped up in Ignacia's mind.
"I already knew you name. I will take my leave," said Ignacia calmly. She walked away from him, irritably.
After a while, Ignacia went to her class. She saw many students inside the class. She walked into the class finding the empty seat.
"Look! She's beautiful" a boy whispered.
"I remembered her. She's the one who is in rare type," a girl whispered.
"I heard about her as well. The only heir to Virtusarium," another girl whispered.
"She's the one who got the first ranking at the entrance exam," a girl whispered.
"Wow, She's perfect," a boy whispered, admiringly
Ignacia heard everything. With her excellent senses, she could sense everything surrounding her easily.
She found an empty seat near the window. She took a seat and looked out of the window. She ignored all the voices surrounding her.
