Kapitel 201: Couldn’t Wait

David took a step back. He didn't want to eavesdrop, he just heard a few words by accident. A few words that made his heart beat too fast for him to bear.

Touching the place where his heart was beating, David took another step back. And another. He withdrew completely from the hallway and ran up the steps in front of the house. Dripping with rain, he stopped here.

He knew that in a moment Felix Krauze would come out of the house and get into the car to fulfill his request. He had no problem looking him in the eye. "So you came after all," he heard the voice of Felix Krauze. David turned his head toward him.

"Yes," he replied.
