At dawn, the sky hung heavy with gray clouds as I stood at the appointed place, as per the letter's instructions. Before me stood a shadowy figure, their dagger sparking dangerously close to my eye. Meeting the threat with a steady gaze, my eyes glowed a brilliant blue in the dim light. It was clear the attacker was skilled; they deftly absorbed the impact, seamlessly transitioning into a defensive stance.
