Make yourself comfortable, Cindy," Olivia said, gesturing to the plush armchair by the window. "Would you like some tea?"
Cindy smiled gratefully, sinking into the chair. "Your mom, the beautiful Mrs. Ashford already offered me some but thank you, Olivia."
As Olivia busied herself with preparing her bed for them, Cindy couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt for not being entirely truthful with her friend. She hadn't told Olivia about the fight with her husband, Alexander Sterling. She couldn't bear to burden Olivia with her problems, not when she had always been there for her.
Olivia returned after she had finished setting everything up and settled onto the bed beside Cindy. "Here you go. I hope this helps you relax."
She handed over a breath mint and Cindy Richards almost burst out laughing but she was too tired to do so.
Breath mints were a thing they started giving each other back in campus to cheer each other up.
