Kapitel 187: Wedding talks

The family sat down round the table. It was so rare that they got together like this. It was only Lin Qiao and Cheng Ana who were not here to make the family complete. Lin Mufan sat at the front followed by Lin Qian and Ji Lingxu. 

Chen Xi was told to sit opposite Lin Mufan and this did not go too well with Lin Qian but he did not voice his displeasure. It could be seen in his eyes. Lin Ye sat on the right with Lin Xue and Han Shuoxi sitting opposite her. 

Han Shuoxi's eyes never once left her and this made Lin Ye's hair stand. She looked away quickly. 

Lin Mufan's voice was very soft as he greeted Lin Ye and Chen Xi, "Xiao Ye, Xiao Chen, how have you guys been?"

Lin Mufan was very fond of Chen Xi. He found him extremely clever and otherworldly. Of all the young folks he had met, Chen Xi surpassed all of them in his eyes. It was quite refreshing to have such a young person to converse with every now and again.
