Kapitel 173: The president is in critical condition

Lin Ye met up with Chen Xi later. She was feeling a bit tired. The surgery had taken about seven hours and it was already bright outside. 

Lin Ye walked towards the resting room where she found Chu Shuang and the rest still inside. The couch was very comfortable and the two men were fast asleep. 

Lin Ye did not know that they would still be there when she was done. Chen Xi held her hand and whispered, "You did well in the surgical room back then."

He was trying to be as silent as he could so as not to wake the two men plus the child who were still asleep. 

Lin Ye smiled at the compliment. It was so nice hearing such words come out of Chen Xi's mouth. 

To think about it now, Chen Xi had also done quite exceptional work. The reason why Lin Ye did not question him so much was probably because deep down she knew that even such a big matter was not so big to Chen Xi after all. 

Lin Ye knew Chen Xi was very smart beyond what Chen Xi showed.
