Kapitel 14: Chapter 14: A Rock and a Hard Place

Nora knew that Colette MUST be angry with her. She knew also that her mother was furious, and so she was in between two very, very different sets of trouble. She paced in her room, wearing the same suit from before when she had literally been dragged away from her own villa.

She wasn’t a child, and being treated like one was really beginning to grate on her. Not only that but being forced to be anywhere near CHRISTOPHER was also starting to make her very upset.

“What were you thinking?” Nora’s mother said from behind the door as the brunette got changed. “Hanging around that – nobody? What have you been doing with her, Nora?”

Nora felt her blood boil at her mother’s words, swinging the door open after she had finished changing. “She isn’t a nobody,” Nora stated strictly, putting her hands on her hips.

“Her name is Colette. She’s a newly awakened elite, mother,” Nora said with a matter-of-fact tone, as though she expected her mother to listen to her words.
