Kapitel 128: Kill Her Again

"Why did you do it?" Maya growled at Psyche as soon as she came out of the room. "You met the god yet you ran away. Do you not want your divinity to return?" 

Her eyes were burning with fury but Psyche narrowed her eyes and stared back in anger.

"What do you mean, why? The man did not love her. What if he had killed her like he had in his past lives." her voice was extremely low but full of threat. "We are assigned to protect the goddess, did you forget that?" 

Maya sneered as if she had heard the lamest joke.

"You are forgetting who gave us the orders and who gave us that divinity? It was him, you fool. And it is diminishing. If we do not do something about it, our future generation will only be a normal and weak human." she gritted her teeth.

Just by thinking about it, she felt her whole body burning with anger.
