Kapitel 519: Cunning Woman

Rowan stared at the sword with complex emotions. He did not move to take it when she extended the gift to him and she did not urge him. She stood there patiently with a strained smile on her face.

"You are cunning." he whispered in a cold voice as he pulled the sword from her hands with a force. 

"I know. But I have never been cunning to my family." He did not believe it. Could not believe it or he had to forgive her. So, he looked away and started walking.

They spent hours there, filling the place with rumors, gossips. Rowan joined the discussion actively later. They entered the shop as strangers and joined the discussion. But rarely could he notice that she was putting effort into taking care of him.

She brought the food he likes, she brought clothes that will look good on him, wrapped the coat around his shoulders when he rubbed his hand on his arms. He looked away, ignoring it.
