Kapitel 429: An Enemy in the light.

Garrison stood up at once. His eyes adjusted to the darkness. He scanned the room and knew that it was not somewhere he knew. His eyes went wide when he remembered he was on his way to reach the marquis palace when they were attacked. He had killed all the assassins single handedly.

James had passed him the pitcher of water and then.. Garrison looked down at him, and there was something horrifying about his face, a darkness in his eyes that made Garrison take out his dagger. 

 "Where am I, James? And what have you done to me?" his cold voice echoed in the empty hall. He was not tied up or hurt. But he could not trust James, not when he had dared to mix something in his drink.

"The water had nothing. Even you know you would have smelt it or felt it when you drank water. It was your weapons, I have coated them with a lethal poison." James chuckled as if his words had proven his loyalty or he had proved that he could outwit Garrison.
