Kapitel 280: Devour Her

The moonlight scattered across his face and a dark shadow loomed over her. She felt his presence overwhelming the whole room and felt tiny with him in it. She felt tiny with his presence hovering over her. 

But then she noticed the faint scars on his chest too. It was not as evident as his back but they were there. And then.. Ana did something she had never thought, she would!

She raised on the bed and touched his chest, surprising him for a moment.

"How did you get them?" her voice was not hurt, just curious yet there was a warmth laced in it. When she touched his chest, she winced as if she was the one who got those wounds.

"I was beaten to death often after the death of my father." the words came out so bluntly that Ana could not feel any trace of emotion in them. As if he was stating facts like it would rain tonight if the food was bland.
