Kapitel 149: In My Arms

"Isla.. Isla.." Isla frowned as she stopped in her tracks and waited for the maid who was running behind her.

"What is it? Do you not know I am taking lunch of your grace. What if it becomes cold?" a hint of irritation on her face as she chided the young girl. "And it is rude to run like that and call others loudly. You should adapt to the manners of the palace already." 

The little young maid flinched and grumbled something under her breath.

"Your Grace is invited to have lunch with madam. So this is not needed." she pointed at the tray Isla was holding. The woman's eyes deepened and she held the plate tightly, "madam said that it would be good if you joined too." 

The little girl beamed but the woman only frowned deeper.

"I do not think it would be appropriate. You can replace me." she took the tray and left from where while the new maid squealed with joy. She knew that she could have a chance if she would inform Isla.
