Lennox hummed but said nothing. Sending Ares Gu's remains to the Jiang Estate wasn't just a warning; it was a way to instill fear in them and make them experience the same humiliation they had intended for Adrienne. The thought darkened Lennox's eyes instantly. He didn't care what others might think about his actions; all he cared about was Adrienne's safety. Even if the authorities were to apprehend Ares Gu, he would most likely find a way to escape punishment by bribing someone. Ares was the type of person who looked down on women and treated them as inferior beings.
