Kapitel 35: Chapter 35 ( The survival trip 2)

[Pov Augustya]

Everyone showed up with bags in their hands except the boss and his subordinate pilot. Their faces were covered with sweat, and they were thrilled with the shopping experience.

"You guys are late." Infuriation could be seen in my eyes. I was really pissed and annoyed that they didn't value my time.

We sat on the outside of the food court and dug into our food.

All of a sudden, a loud beep echoed in my ears. I looked down and noticed it was coming from my bracelet.

A familiar voice could be heard from the bracelet. "You have 2 hours and 40 minutes to find our spaceship and reach me. This won't be as easy as you think; I will make sure you all fail in the process. "

According to the Duck Way Galaxy and the standard planetary median, time flows differently here. 1 minute is equal to  95  seconds of earth time, so 4 hours and 22 minutes is 2 hours and 40 minutes  on the Ferry Cosmopolitan Island.

"If you lose the task, it means you will rely on yourself. Buckle up and find me."

The rest could detect that it was Famara's voice, which sounded cold and ruthless.

I really didn't understand why second grade species were so lustful for gambling and survival quests.

"This guy seriously needs some beating." Julie said, enraged and put her spoon on the table.

For a few minutes, they had been trying to contact Famara by bracelet  or satellite phone.

No response came from him. Maybe he was irritated by lower-grade species nagging. Everyone had a puzzled look and couldn't understand what was happening.

"What is the meaning of this?" The translator asked, shivering like an abandoned puppy.

"He is in the mood to play survival games with us as well as bet on who will lose," Julie replied back, giving us a wry smile.

Moreover, Schatten had records of doing these types of activities.

Zekrom glanced at the bracelet with an insane mind. "FAMARA, you bloody monster. You CAN'T do this to me" Zekrom's voice boomed in the food court, causing my ears to bleed from its shrill sound.  Yet Famara Kelvis didn't say anything.

"Yelling is not the best choice to handle a situation, you known.  You should have taken things rationally and logically." I said and slid the plate further.

Zekrom rolled his eyes and ignored my suggestion as usual.

"Julie, were you aware of his plan?" The translator asked, giving her suspicious look.

Two of them always sat together, eating, let alone sharing the same pathogen with each other. Plus, I had the same doubt like others  maybe both of them were acquaintance with this crime.

"Nope. He didn't tell me anything about that. I am clueless like you guys."

Hence, my hypothesis was proven wrong.

The rest of them started giving her evil eyed.  "Fine. Don't believe me!" She shrugged her shoulders and put nonchalant smile on her face.

The others dispersed and started searching for the spaceship. I curled my lips, fancy of this solitude.

"Aren't you going?" Julie asked me.

"Naah. I need to analyse the whole situation before I take action." I replied and wrote down everything on the memo that I bought from the stationary shop.

" Julie, how much do you know about Famara?"

"Why are you interrogating me like a police officer? "  She said, as she had wrinkled on her forehead.

"Julie, we are in big trouble because your psychotic man has fancy of primitive games."

Where I live, we have one rule: Pandora was the queen and king. It applied to half of the Duckway Galaxy.

"I am not his woman, kid. Sharing the same bed doesn't make us one. I am an individual." Julie clarified it and stood up from her chair.

"If you want to survive, we have to gather all the information to locate the pirate spaceship." Julie sat down as she agreed with my statement.

I had collected information from her; however, it was limited. Julie and I parted ways as we would be connected with this bracelet.

Frankly speaking, I don't trust her or the rest.  I came to the conclusion that Famara was testing our strength and endurance.

If he wanted to leave, Famara Kelvis would do it silently rather than by proclamation.

I started feeling anxious and irritated due to the crowd and their chirping. Furthermore, Julie warned me not to use my abilities. Hence, it would make things worse.

"Guys, we checked the paint shop. But I didn't find any trace of him."

"I asked in the parking space; I had no clue about him yet." Translator said.

The kind-hearted lower-grade species were sharing information with each other so we could find the spaceship easily.

This was a big place; if I were him, where would I hide it? Somewhere, it was easy to go, but nobody could detect where I was.

I ran towards the play area as others were finding him in another place. The play area welcomed me with loud noises, agitation, and the yahoo sound. I shouldn't have come here; it's a truly hellish paradise for me.

After looking for an hour, I still couldn't locate him or the spaceship, as if they were gone in thin air. Blaming the crowds which helped me lose my momentum.

Besides, they were so engrossed in their rhythm that they had forgotten basic Igrius manners.

"The first person, Vidyut Besar, already came in the spaceship. You guys have 80 minutes now." Famara informed us.

"Sh*t."

Suddenly, I noticed the skinny boss and his subordinate pilot who were going for a ride.  Looking suspicious!

I followed them, and there was something wrong with them. Nonetheless, I couldn't hear anything.

"Dammit."  I launched the fly nanobot towards them, and it landed on the Boss grey trouser.

I Put the earbuds on my ears and listened  to their annoying conversation.

"Boss, are you not interested in participating in this game?" His subordinate, the pilot, asked in curiosity.

"Why would I? They treat us worse than slaves, even locking ourselves in the bathroom."

"You even worked for them. For such treason, I have to suffer." The boss spoke with heavy-hearted words.

"Boss, I was loyal to you. And your loyal subordinate did because he needed to feed his boss' belly. " The pilot answered.

"You did a good job being a slave to them. They even stole our spaceship. "

"Boss, I am your loyal slave, so what is your plan for stealing our ship back?"

"Famara doesn't know I have put GPS transmission on the spaceship. The tracker shows we are going on the right path." His giggling and shrill sounds nauseous to my ears.  Interesting!

I saw from afar that they were riding the extreme roller coaster, a giant circle that was going up and up and then down with a vertical force of 7g.

"Do I really have to ride this thing?" I contemplate, as this would be my top 10 wrong decisions I ever made. Everything had done for survival.

After surviving the vertical roller coaster, my head started feeling dizzy and nauseous. Sometimes I wonder, how could primitive species like this thing?

Lastly, I found two minions who were  going the way of a statue of a bald man.

"You kid, what are you doing here?" The boss noticed me and asked with hostility.

"I want the tracker that you have." I said it with determination in my eyes.

"Tracker?  What tracker are you talking about?"

"Don't play dumb games with me. The one you kept in your pocket." The boss covered his right chest with his hands.

My bluff worked!

I manifested a dagger and prepared a shield as a countermeasure. My hypothesis said  they would have carried guns.

*Bang bang!*

The boss took out the machine plasma gun, which looked rusty, and the nozzle was in a weird shape.Truly magnificent.

"Go and die, Moron!"  A dark red light came towards me at the speed of light.

I dodged it with my electromagnetic  shield that I bought in the thrift store for 400 sols.

*Bang bang! The boss fired with no aim.

None of them touched my body.

Taking this advantage, I ran quickly and knocked him down on the ground. The pilot was slightly moved forward as he showed me a grin.

"Kid, you don't need to fight with my boss. He doesn't have physical ability or high intelligence." The pilot said.

He threw the tracker as he was surrendering without fighting.

"You are a smart pilot. " I compliment him, amused with the outcomes.
