Everything was slowed down so much that it seemed like the undead monstrous sheep and the mist troll were fighting in slow motion. As for Circe, her face fixed in that horrified expression was like icing on top of my favorite cake, which, to anyone interested, was a mango cheesecake. 

Anyway, forks of lightning clung to my body and spread out into the air like wings. 

'These tachyons are beautiful every time I see them.'

My chest heaved, my hands twitched, and it was hard to breathe like I'd over-caffeinated. However, despite the similarities with the 'Confusion' debuff's effects, the buff coursing through me now was a rush that never got old. It was the feeling that I alone existed in the realmsverse and everything else was lost to the tightening grip of time's embrace.
