Kapitel 89: The Last Hurdle

Kara opened her eyes to the metallic grey ceiling of her trailer. She rose to her feet, stretching her body, before making her way towards the door.

A yawning Mazi stood on the other side, his gigantic fist raised in a knocking position.

*Cough!*

"Good morning, Your Highness. I trust you had a good night's sleep," he said once she had fully opened the door, bringing his hand back down.

"Come in," Kara responded, already walking back to her bed.

By now, she had accustomed herself to his aura, his scent, and the sound of his breathing.

Although Mazi appeared as if he had moved past it, Kara knew that a part of him still suspected her involvement in Senzo's death, hence, she still had to be wary of him.

"How much longer?" She asked.

"Before we reach the first colony?" Mazi ruffled his lustrous curly black hair in thought.

"Erm... if all goes well, a week or two I suppose," he approximated.
