'That was a lot easier than I expected,' Hade thought to himself as he let out a huge sigh of relief.

The thin yet impenetrable layer of coherent energy now encapsulating his secondary core felt like a warm ember of coal embedded deep within his chest.

The feeling was strange, yes, but not at all unpleasant.

Just to test the waters, Hade tried to use his Gravity Control but unsurprisingly, the holowatch on his desk remained perfectly still, not shifting as much as an inch in position, despite his best efforts.

The major perk of double-core activation was that Hade could now switch focus between his two cores at any given time.

This meant that just like how he could deactivate the chest core to focus on the navel core, he could also do vice-versa.

In other words, by the time the rest of the class finally ascended to Master-class, he would already have established a strong foothold in the higher realm.
