Kapitel 65: More Sad Shit

{Oh no, we are halfway there. How sad the trip is already coming to an end.}

{Let's move super slowly so we can soak in the remaining time."

{I don't want this to end.}

The demon horse vitality pill had almost reached its time limit. The effects were starting to show: breathlessness and sweat and all.

The two had to move quicker if they wanted to escape into the darkness.

"We should make a sprint for it," the princess suggested.

But the seer did not hear; his mind was elsewhere.

The princess shook him, and with a jerk, he was back.

{Oh, you think he will run? He won't. It's a matter of ego. He would rather suffer the brunt of his past than run away from it. After all, running is for weaklings and pussies, isn't it?}

The system bent down to his level, trying to get past the hat and catch a glimpse of his face, but it had no luck there.

And so a new layer of illusions overlaid the passage.
