Kapitel 42: Advanced Artificial Life Form

Arlan had no choice but to explain the source of the money vaguely. It was still too early to tell his parents about the recent wealth he gained. After all, he was just a construction worker a few days ago and it would be too shocking if they learned that he had earned so much wealth in just less than a week. 

After more than ten minutes of explaining, he finally made his mother believe him. He disconnected the call and went to his bedroom. He had a hard time trying to sleep that night because of the recent encounter with Leandro's men.

The next morning, Arlan woke up with a headache. He grabbed his head and massaged his temples in hopes that it could alleviate a bit of the pain. The good thing was that it somehow worked. He got up from his bed and took a cold shower to fully wake up himself. He then brushed his teeth before changing into his training clothes. He planned to do some workout routines this morning to release the lingering tension in his body.
