"Come now. Don't think that way," Flare cooed into my ear as I did my damn best to avoid her face coming into contact with mine. "I helped you, right? It's only proper that you help me out in return."

"I... I'm not... myself right now..." the fiery woman panted into my ear, her chest heaving against mine as her hair seemed to cling onto me like they were gasping for more oxygen. "I'm... spent..."

Spent? "You mean exhausted?"

My cheeks flushed at the way Flare said those last few words directly into my ear. My brain was already sending me mixed signals contrary to what I really wanted to happen, but I sure as hell wouldn't let my fvcking hormones get the better of me like this. "G-Got it."
