Kapitel 599: Choosing The Staff Among The Candidates

Contrary to Liliana and Talia's expectations, Old Master Ding was calmer as he listened to their explanations and the new findings related to the case. Heartbreak was written on his countenance but, he didn't shed tears like before.

To Liliana and Talia, this was more painful. They would rather Old Master Ding cry, showing his emotions instead of forcefully numbing his feelings.

By the time they finished talking about this matter, the clock showed near eleven. In another hour, a brand new day would begin.

"Talia, Lili," Old Master Ding exhaled a deep sigh. He pinched the space between his white brows, "For now... don't bring this up to your great-grandfather. I don't want him to collapse out of shock."

"We understand, Grandpa," replied Talia, nodding a few times, "We know that we have to be careful when telling Great-Grandpa."
