Knock! Knock!
The sound prompted Liliana to look up from the screen of her laptop. A grinning Nancy was standing sideways against the door frame.
With one quick glance, Liliana looked at the small clock at the bottom corner of the laptop.
10:20 PM.
"Oh, it's passed the closing time already?"
Nancy walked inside the office. With one hand on her hip, she said, "You've been so busy in here ah. Come out. Let's have a short meeting with the staff. They've finished cleaning up."
"A meeting? For what?" Liliana saved the documents she was reading before shutting down the laptop, "Is it only for the evening shift?"
"I'll tell the others when they come tomorrow morning," Nancy gestured to the outside with a slight tilt of her chin, "Come."
I remember a post I saw on FB. The lady shared her and her husband's fertility struggle (with both consents). The husband suffered from azoospermia. Many people told her to leave him because she wished to have biological children. But, she said that she might get what she wished for but, was it worth it leaving her present? Her husband was irreplaceable, someone who treated her with so much love and care.
The post was long and it was so deep. If only I can share everything with you guys :)
