After ending the call, Huangfu Ruiling gazed at Ye Leng'an and congratulated her, "Well done on acing the college entrance exam! What kind of reward would you like?"

Ye Leng'an blinked, then replied with a smile, "There's a reward! But I haven't decided yet. I'll let you know once I've made up my mind!"

"Alright!" Huangfu Ruiling's voice was filled with affection.

While the two shared a tender moment, Huangfu Ruiling's phone rang at an inconvenient time. Disregarding it, he hung up.

However, the caller seemed persistent and immediately dialed again. 

Ye Leng'an suggested, "You should answer it!"

Despite Huangfu Ruiling's displeasure at the untimely call, he obeyed Ye Leng'an's advice and picked up, his tone chilly. "What's the matter?"

In less than a minute, Huangfu Ruiling responded curtly, "Got it," and hung up.

Curious, Ye Leng'an raised an eyebrow. "Who was it?"
