With steady steps Alex stepped back into the room to find his wife still fast asleep, he smiled. She's still as beautiful as always, he couldn't help but step close to the bed rubbing his thumb on her chin, "Good morning." He whispered. "How was your trip?" Her eyes slid open and she pulled him in for a tight hug. He chuckled.
"It was productive." He kissed her forehead tenderly hugging her more, he's missed Hazel so much, more than he thought he would. Through the years, they've not just evolved to be husband and wife, she's part of his life, a part that was him, a part he could not do without.
The best thing that has happened to him, the best gift anyone would give, is a light to his dark world. If he was asked to choose, he would choose her all over again.
"How was your vacation?" Alex asked between his kiss before pulling out. "Great, the kids love great-grandma so much and I think the boys are her favorite." Hazel got off the bed, "Let's get you changed so you can rest." She led him to the closet to change and then to the bathroom where they both had their morning bath together.
.
Who would believe I would wake up to see Alex by my side this morning after his travel to the states for almost two months now. He's barely had time for us since he expanded his empire always promising to make time for us which he never does. I can't believe he's missing out on the most important part of his kid's life cause of work, but as a wife, I have to support whatever he does.
We both stepped out of the bathroom and got dressed to go have breakfast. I had to force Alex to have breakfast with his kids, so they could at least see him, you never know when duty calls again. For now, Dad has retired from handling my inherited companies, so I had to hire some set of good and professional managers to run it for me since I had little idea about what it was about.
"Uncle Gus Gus." We heard Leah scream tailing Gaius as she dragged her baby with her. Alex chuckled at her actions. She's been fond of Gaius lately, always talking and disturbing him, which was quite satisfactory to me cause I'm always free.
No one told me having a child was another job of its own, mine being three has turned the entire mansion into a war zone. They fight themselves every day especially Kyle and Alex who are rarely seen together the cause of their endless fights.
Kyle is a normal kid like every other normal child, he's peaceful, friendly, obedient and the best son. He kisses me everyday even without asking and even when he forgets, he double kisses me when he remembers.
Leah's my baby girl, so cute and adorable, though she didn't learn how to call mum till she stopped seeing her father around, but that doesn't mean she loves me less right?
Yes, Karma has caught up with me, cause my daughter turns out to be a daddy's lover girl. She barely even looks at me when he's around. Kissing him continuously and when I look at them, she gives me the eyes.
Alex is a special kid, I guess he's not called Alex's junior for nothing. He doesn't act like a child, neither does he laugh or play with anyone. He's always in a corner with a book or his phone. I really don't have a favorite kid among the three, I love them all equally.
I know they never took my kind of life cause they obviously act and talk like the man I'm married to. I was a peaceful child to my parents, I gave them no trouble and made sure I was the best kid to mum.
"Leah, junior, Kyle it's time for breakfast." I was in a good mood right now with Alex finally back home, even if he's so tired and just wants to sleep. "Daddy ahh," Leah screamed stretching her little hands as she ran towards us for a hug, her legs were not stable on the floor which had her falling a couple of times before finally meeting up to him.
Alex raised her up before pulling her in for a hug, that had her kissing his entire face. "My princess," he called to earn a giggle from her. Both people have their history together which gets me a bit jealous, this three year old is a little thief who has stolen my husband from me. She barely even let me close to him when they're together.
We all stepped into the formal dining with Leah sitting next to Alex and the boys sitted in their favorite seats. The maids served the dishes for them to start eating, and so did Alex. We all are together that morning as one family again, "Their birthday party's in a week, mother said she'd handle the party." I had to inform him beforehand. "Make sure you attend."
"I will, I promise." He said and we continued with our food.
.
"You had no idea he killed your parents, did you? Your siblings, cousins, your entire family, both the extended and close relations. Alex traced your family history and killed them all. I'm still wondering why he hasn't killed you yet." The old woman said to Phillip. She is among the few that escaped Alexander's wrath at that time which had them fleeing away from the country promising never to return.
They heard he was not around for some months now, and decided to visit their long term relative and ask him for help. Phillip was upset, yes his grandfather did some horrible things, which Alex himself took revenge on. Why he killed more of his family members was what baffled him. He grew up all alone without a family cause he was told they all died tragically, but they were wrong.
Yes, they all died tragically but in the hands of a man who might be after his life too. "I only came here to ask for your help." The old woman stated.
Sage was aghast at this sudden oddity, does this mean her friend Hazel's aware of her husbands' nature? Hazel is not a bad person or one who fancies killers, she hates all actors and producers of action movies or even horror movies. No, she can't let her friend suffer, Hazel has to know the man she's married to is a killer. If there's any good she has to do for her friend, is exposing her evil husband.
Sage was so upset at Alex, though he has supported her family in so many ways, and even n made Phillips's upcoming company one of the best in NYC, it was still so wrong to wipe out his entire family. "That man needs to be stopped." Philip smacked the table hard, he felt frustrated, the same man he trusted with his life, is the man responsible for all of his misfortune.
For years he blamed himself for everything that happened, he thought he was cursed and stayed far away from people so as not to hurt them. He had a terrible childhood cause of one man, just one man. "What do you want Aunt." He asked the old woman before him.
