Alex finally pulled out, he was happy to see Hazel here, finally she was back in his arms. He was really getting fund of her, which he didn't understand why, he looked into her bright blue eyes and his lips curled into a smile as he knew the effect he had on her.
"Come here!" He held her wrist and took her away through the stairs, leaving everyone in the lounge agape, "Alfred, take Carie to her room!" Alex ordered as he left unhurriedly with Hazel. They arrived before a brown door, after their long walk through the stairs and the hallway. Alex took her in closing the door behind them. His gaze fell on the anxious girl before him, and he chuckled.
He took her to the couch gesturing his hands for her to sit, and she sat concious of her environment. Alex sat next to her, nonchalantly, he was irrtated by her stiff attitude. "You don't have to be scared Hazel, it's not the first time we've been together in a room is it?" He asked unhurriedly taking off some strand's of hair from her face.
He observed her body with narrowed eyes, she was on a brown off shoulder knitted mini dress that matched her light skin tone perfectly, her collar bone were visible and it woke something in him.
His gaze went down further to her visible thighs and he frowned, who knew how many people might have looked at it. She was he's for now and he wouldn't want to share with another. "Alex what are we doing here!" She finally spoke. And he smiled, her shoulders were down this only meant she was no longer anxious and her stubbornness has been activated.
He's always known Hazel to be a beautiful lady from the first time he saw her, even if her face was painted with that ugly mascara line. He turned to the table gesturing his hands to the gift box on the table. "Ruth brought her best jewelries collection, she picked the best Stones from different part of the world. It's up to you to pick the one you want!" Alex said.
His gaze was focused on the girl on the couch, he saw her raise a brow taking a glance at the boxes but she did not touch them. He smiled. "Check them out!" He ordered and he watched her stretch her hands out, from their formal position to one of the boxes.
Hazel glanced at him before opening the box on her thighs, her eyes widened. Alex couldn't wait for her to open the others as he picked them opening them one after another. "I don't like any of it, how about you?"
"There's nothing here to not like Alex, it's just that you don't have fashion sense!" She said confidently. 'Oh so now you know how to talk, what happened few minutes ago when you couldn't say a thing? He thought. "What are you insinuating Hazel?" He narrowed his eyes.
"I'm not insinuating anything, I'm simply telling the truth!" She said meaningfully. "And how did you know I lack fashion sense?" He asked. "Did you see the way you dressed me for our family dinner, i mean I was looking so fine before you ruined it with your....!" She sighed.
"No go on, I love when you talk!" He smiled. *Sigh* "Alex, you don't understand my point. All I'm saying is, this jewelries are beautiful and it would suit me perfectly!" She said.
"You're beautiful and everything would look good on you!" He stated with an obvious expression.
"You know what, let's try something to know who's a better fashionista hmmm?" He brought out the first jewelry, "Turn around!" He ordered and she did. "What are we doing?"
"You'll find out soon!" Was the only thing Alex said as he tied her hair upwards with his black wrist band. He wore her the necklace not minding if his finger prints would be imprinted on them, he could buy a thousand anyway. He took four pictures of Hazel wearing the necklaces and sent them to Lukas and Benson to rate.
They answered immediately, and he gave his phone to Hazel to read their comments. "This is so ridiculous, you all lack fashion sense. Why not ask someone else other than your friends who have the same reasoning and taste like you!" She said leaving him astonished.
"Fine who do you want us to ask then?" "Carie!" Hazel said almost immediately. "No no not Carie, she has the same reasoning and taste like you!" Hazel glared at him, she understood what he just did. "Fine I'd do what you want, it's not like we'll return this one's anyways!" Hazel said calmly.
"And why's that?" "Cause it now has your finger print dummy!" She smiled and stood up to leave, but was held back by Alex. "What else do you want?" She asked. "You!" He placed her back on the chair, "Now, where were we?" He captured her lips, kissing her in a more passionate way than before.
He had missed her so much when she was away, he just could not get her off his thoughts. His heart was racing as they continued their kiss, Alex could not understand his feelings anymore, why was he longing for Hazel this way, like he did once for Berverly. The only difference is that his feelings towards Hazel feels stronger than the former.
Was he falling for her?" At the thought of this Alex pulled out as they were both panting heavily. If he is falling in love with Hazel, he has to stop it, these feelings are not right. He can't possibly be inlove with her.
