Kapitel 29: 29- Let The Games Begin!

"Yahoo! We will have a brawl! A classic temple battle royal. YAAAA!" - Gifso

{Game Magic: Temple Shuffle} - Gifso chanted as blue light shot out of his grimoire and formed different passages, out of those passages nine individuals with different sea creatures, jumped out.

"You called us high priest?" - One of the individuals said

"Some people from outside the temple. But they don't seem to be that strong" - Another one of the individuals said

"Says the guy with the lame-ass mask" - Magna

"These guys are not weak, can't you feel the mana coming off of them. I bet they're warriors of the temple" - Finral said calmly as he tapped Magna on the shoulder.

Yami ignored the whole thing and just lit up a new cigarette.

"Well then, let's get started" - Gifso

"Wait, already? I'm not ready" - Asta

"Start what exactly" - Venessa

"Hahaha All right then. Let the games...BEGIN!" - Gifso shouted as he raised his hands. This caused water to form around both groups and they got swept away with the currents.

A moment later, Noah found himself inside a room with magic items that acted like monitors.

There were multiple of those magic monitors. Each showed a different part of the temple. On some of the screens he can see his squad mates.

Next to him was the high priest.

"Test. Test. Oh, good I got through. Listen to the rules, I'll only say it once. You've been scattered to different areas inside the temple. Starting now you will face against the temple mages, nine against nine. The rules are simple. If you knock out your opponent, you win. If your opponent gives up, you win. Victory goes to the team to wipe out the other team, or whichever team left with the most members at the end of this. You can fight however you like! You can fight one on one, or run away if you want to. You can even find your friends and team up and fight together. Oh, by the way, my nuisance spells are out there as well, so stay sharp" - Gifso finished his explanation

Venessa was lazily sitting on a rock in a flower field. Charmy was standing in front of a small stream, she was trying to catch a fish to eat. Finral was looking for a place to hide. Noelle was searching around, trying to understand where she's at. Gauche was trying to contact his sister. After not being able to, he sent a string of curses directed at the old man.

Magna on the other hand was surprisingly calm. He was searching around trying to find the exit. Grey turned into Gordon and walked around seemingly aimless. Luck was excitedly running around. He was excited and he wanted to fight someone.

Asta who was also walking around aimlessly, was the first to run into one of the warriors of the temple. The two went on to fight it out, and like a chain reaction, the other squad members were confronted by the other warriors.

Noah, captain Yami and the head priest Gifso, were sitting in a dimly lit room. They were watching while the others were fighting. In front of them was a table with all kinds of food and drinks.

Noah was not worried, he knew the underwater temple people were good people, he was just relaxing until the real bad guys show up. Noah had started to eat some of the food that was placed on the table.

"You don't seem top be bothered by this young man" - Gifso said as he looked at Noah

"I'm a little disappointed that I don't get to join the game. And here I was excited to do something fun. Look even captain Yami looks sad" - Noah said as he threw one of the berries in his mouth

"Hahaha. You and your captain are a bit too strong. Myself as well as the people out there are excited for the games. If you participate, then that would ruin all the fun, you see? Besides I have all kinds of food and drinks here, so the two of you should relax and watch the show" - Gifso

"You have a great taste old man" - Yami sat next to Gifso and started drinking together. Noah was sitting next to them watching the fights on the screen, while eating fruits.

[You don't seem to be bothered by not playing in this game] - Draco

[None of them can be of competition to us. Yes it sounds fun, but honestly I would rather just relax] - Noah

[I see. But what if your squad mates lose. Then we won't be able to take the magic stone] - Draco

[We will get the magic stones regardless. This is just for entertainment. You heard the head priest, he knows we are stronger than whatever he has. He's just having fun for now, and then we would get the stone at then end of it all] - Noah

[That makes sense] - Draco

Noah and Draco turned their attention back to the screen. They saw Asta knock out his opponent, afterwards he just took off running, trying to find his next opponent. Around the same time, Luck, Magna, and Gauche were also done with their fights as well.

Seeing that four of the opponents were out, Yami laughed "Hahaha good work you idiots. If one of you loses, I'll kill you myself. Hahahah"

"Those fools let down their guards, that's what they get" - Gifso wasn't happy with his warriors performance so far

One of the screens showed FInral hiding away from some warrior with a shark mask on.

"Hey young man, it won't be fun if you keep running away" - Gifso

"Huh? You've been watching me old man" - Finral was startled

"Finral, you better suck it up and start fighting or I'll beat you up myself" - Yami

"Captain? Where are you?" - Finral

"Finral, c'mon man, all the ladies outside are watching you. Don't look so cowardly in front of them" - Noah

"Noah as well?! Just where are you guys?" - Finral

"We're enjoying some foods and drinks while watching you guys fight" - Yami

"WAIT! Noah, did you say the ladies are watching me?" - Finral

"Yes, some are even rooting for you" - Noah

Finral turned around with determination in his eyes, and started walking towards the area where one of the warriors is.

"Hahaha, good work brat. He finally decided to man up" - Yami laughed as he patted Noah on the back

Switching focus from one screen to the next. They looked at a Grey disguised as Gordon who was just chilling, not doing much, just existing. Then they looked over at another screen. They saw Charmy who was very concentrated.

"Is Charmy in the middle of a fight or something?" - Captain Yami

"Hahahah I don't think so captain. Look over there" - Naoh pointed at another screen. The second screen showed Charmy from a further angle. She had her sheep cooks, and she was in the middle of a feast. While she was busy eating, a figure slowly made their way towards her. It was one of the warriors, they were wearing a pink dolphin mask.

Charmy tried to act tough, but the warrior used a spell on her, that sent her to sleep.

"Hahaha, what do you think of the power of one of the great priests" - Gifso had to rub it in

"She's not getting any food for a week" - Yami looked pissed

"Hahahahaha" - Gifso

Noah ignored the old man's laughter and looked at the screen that showed Luck and Magna. The two had run into each other, then they found the guy with the shark mask.

"Hahah! This is fun! I'll go first" - Luck sped towards the shark masked man

"Luck you bastard, I found him first" - Mana ran after Luck

Another screen showed Asta run into the warrior, or rather the priest with the sword fish mask.

It just so happens that the sword fish masked priest used duel blades in his fighting style. So Asta and him were engaged in sword fighting

The screen that Noah was watching most of the time, the one that showed Noelle. On the screen he can see that Noelle had run into the priest with the pink dolphin mask, she then reveled that it was Kahono.

'This is good. The two will grow nicely after this encounter' Noah couldn't help but smile
