Kapitel 92: Scene XCII

"... I am happy. Thank you, husband… This gift… I love it." — Keeping it close to her heart, the youthful wife could not afford to gaze into his dazed eyes as great exhilaration menaced to show tears of joy in her lids.

It was great shyness she felt from this. For it was unexpected from a man such as Aslak was rumoured to be.

And because of such shyness, at the glance she ultimately gave to the spouse… Instead of straightforwardly acting upon her sentiments, Ewelina decided to request for what her soul desired.
