Kapitel 27: AN UNEXPECTED ENCOUNTER
ISABELLA POV:
"Bella, Drew is my cousin, I mean I know my father has disowned me, but my uncle really loves me, he only arranged my job in London. I have to go to my cousin's wedding, but I don't want to go alone, please come with me, my parents are not coming I know that, I have already told them about you, so don't worry just come."
Charlie, I would go, but you know I hate gatherings, I just want to spend my weekend on my bed with a book. Suddenly the bell rang, I am getting it, wait here.
"Delivery for Miss Isabella Miller".
What is this, I opened the package and found a book, "The Reality Of Life", by Aiden Williams, what the hell who has sent me this? I searched everywhere but couldn't find who has sent this book to me. This is so strange who has sent me Aiden's book, and wait Aiden has not written a romantic novel, this book is so different. I was looking at the book cover when Charlie came and took it.
"You are reading Aiden's book"
No Charlie, I don't know, someone sent this book to me, I don't have the sender's name.
"Good for you, you got something new to read."
No way I will not read his book, I kept the book on my study table and decided what to wear for the wedding tomorrow.
"Thank you so much Bella for coming with me".
Don't thank me, Charlie, it's ok, tomorrow I don't have anything to do.
"Ok then good night girl, have a good sleep, I don't want to see any dark circles tomorrow".
Sure good night.
Just as I was going to sleep my eyes fell on the book, I just wanted to see the contents, ok Bella that devil will not know I am reading his book, so ya I can just look into it a bit.
As I started reading the book, I found it so different from his previous books, the book was based on realist Literature along with Bildungsroman(Bildungsroman is a literary genre of stories about a character growing psychologically and morally from their youth into adulthood). He has written everything based on practical knowledge and experience. As I started reading the book, my interest spiked up, I was going on reading, when suddenly I saw it was 2 AM, already, I quickly turned off the lights and slept, Charlie will surely kill me tomorrow.
AIDEN POV:
"I am really glad Aiden that you came, meet my wife Alexa".
Congratulations to both of you and Drew in these last few years you have become a very close friend of mine, so I had to come.
"Enjoy the party Aiden, just give me a minute my brother and his friend have come, let me just receive them,"
Ya ya sure, you go, I am fine here, don't worry.
"Sir, you have your medicine at 8, don't forget to take it".
Oh Robert, please enjoy the party, why are you always so stressed about my health
"Sir, Noah Sir, and I only know about your high blood pressure, you can't miss the medicine, otherwise Noah Sir will kill me."
I chuckled and took my medicine from him, ok now I have taken it, don't worry now.
Just as I turned, I was shocked to see someone at this party, What is she doing here?
Oh, she is the friend of Drew's brother, wait that means Charlie is Drew's cousin, great now I have to sit here and watch both of them smile and flirt with one another.
Why is this bothering me, I should have asked Rebecca to come with me, then I could release my anger and frustrations.
Suddenly a hot blondie came and started flirting with me. what was her name, ya Madeline?
"I am your great fan Aiden, I can do anything for you, she told giving me a lusty smile".
Thank you so much, Madeline, but I am leaving soon.
"Don't worry about that, just let me please you".
Uff these girls, they know only to throw themselves, but if she is willing to do anything, why will I not take this chance?
We both decided to go to my hotel and so I went to bid Drew goodbye.
Drew,
"Aiden, come here, and meet my cousin Charlie and her friend Isabella, they both work in XENIA PUBLISHING, so I guess you know them".
Ya I know them, I replied bluntly.
Isabella looked shocked seeing me, she excused herself and went to the drinks section. Why does she always wear such backless dresses, her dress was a red backless gown, she was looking so sexy, all the men at the party were eye fucking her, and she moved innocently without any care, and that stupid bf of her, laughing casually, is he so blind, that he can't see the men in the party looking at his gf like that.
Why do I care, I don't care at all. I wanted to leave soon, that girl what was her name, Ya, Madeline she was sucking someone's face, great she doesn't even have a little patience. I don't want to get any STDs, this girl sure looks like, she sleeps with everyone.
I was going toward the exit when I heard a few muffling sounds, "Help".
I started looking and the scene which I saw, had my blood boiling, a man was gripping Isabella's waist and trying to kiss her forcefully, tears ran from her beautiful orbs, when she saw me she looked relieved. I punched the man hard and kept on beating him, and finally, he became unconscious. Great now I have bloody knuckles also, wait where is she. I turned and saw her unconscious in the garden.
I lifted her slowly and she opened her eyes slowly.
" My head is spinning, I am not feeling good, but you are the devil, why did you save me".
Huh, look at this girl, she is not in a state to talk but in this condition also, she insults me.
Suddenly she started smiling and I was sure her drink was soiled, someone must have mixed something, and she was burning.
She again opened her eyes and wrapped her hands around my neck, I was shocked, what is she up to, she is not in her senses Aiden.
"My Aiden" she whispered and closed her eyes.
I lifted her slowly and took her into my car, I asked Robert to start driving as I didn't bring my driver today, he was sick.
"Sir, is she alright"?
I guess so, she just needs a good sleep, take me to my penthouse Robert, I don't want to go to a hotel.
As she slept so peacefully with her head on my lap, I couldn't forget how she spell those two words" My Aiden".
