Lev's arms were spread at once. From the shock, he had instinctively pulled Ilyana to his arms, protecting her upon hearing the loud blast. Ilyana, on the other hand, reached out to her gun, aiming it toward the man beside her who had quickly fell on the ground, lifeless. Both her and Lev stared at each other as they realized the bullet hadn't hit them as they feared, instead it had hit one of the guards who they recalled stayed around Samuel at any seconds.

Lev's eyes were quick to move beside him, searching for the shooter and locked eyes with Clayton. The man held a grin as he raised his gun and giving the end of the barrel a soft blow. As if that wasn't enough to show how he was the one who had killed the man, he pointed his finger to himself with a proud grin. After he was done, he turned away, disintegrating with the folks around the casino who were in panic after the sudden fire.
