Kapitel 47: Chapter 47: A Duel

I watched Rilian pace around his apartment, collecting things into a small bag.

“These are all for the duel?” I asked, casually sitting on the dining room table as he rushed back and forth.

“Yeah, I can’t rely on my father to play fair,” said Rilian, “I need to prepare.”

“So, the red spandex and superhero action figure will even things out?” I asked, peeking into his bag.

Rilian slid up next to me; his cheeks flushed red as he quickly snatched them out of the bag.

“I forgot to pull them out from my last trip,” he mumbled, replacing them with bandages instead.

It had been a few days since Rilian had broken his father’s spell. Rilian was healed entirely, though I still had a few scrapes that were slow to mend, still a bit too anxious to shift into my wolf form and speed up the process.

“Are you sure we want to go through with this?” I asked with a frown.
