July's POV:

My fingers were trembling a bit while I was making a last check on my guitar and tuning it. The question if I was nervous was silly at this point. But sitting here, behind the stage in just a simple white blouse and a pair of blue jeans, made me unable to think about anything else but what would be happening soon.

Yes, I loved Tammy above anything else. And not immediately falling into her arms when she came back to school as well was hard. But I wanted to do this properly. She deserved an open apology and an open symbol of how important she was to me. I didn't have a career right now, yet I was certain this was one of my most important appearances on stage.

In a frail attempt to calm my racing mind and heart, I closed my eyes and started to strum the first few notes of the song. Of course, it wasn't something that was going to be treated with.
