Kapitel 59: The Gala: Window to the Heart

Tammy's POV:

I was nervous beyond compare. Not only was I back at school now I was also sharing a room with July again. And while I already decided I wanted to fight for our love I still didn't know how she felt about it. Zach was quick at allowing me to store the drawing in his room whenever I wasn't painting on it. Even complimented me on how great it looked.

July on the other hand still didn't go out of her way to approach me. So far the short conversations we had been much nicer and less distant than before. There was still hope I just knew it. And tonight was the perfect night to show that.

I gave the mirror the last spin in my black evening gown. The neckline wasn't deep, since my cleavage wasn't that impressive anyway, but I loved the back. The thin nylon material showed off my back embroidered with flowers. I didn't want to go too sexy since it was a professional occasion and my mom chose a good dress.

On my way outside I turned a corner just to bump right into Zach.
