Kapitel 14: Arriving At The Cave

"RAAWR~"

Flying high in the sky a purple dragon let out a majestic roar grabbing the attention of all nearby creatures.

Giant True Dragons which were hovering above the ranges the purple dragon passed by also let out their roars in the acknowledgement of their lord who was passing by.

Eris who was followed by Lady Grace landed on top of one of the mountains and looked at the large mouth of the cave Eris lives in.

Unlike humans and other intelligent creatures Dragons don't practice living in the houses but instead live primitively in caves.

Their natural strength and talent made them uncaring of the world and didn't care about the practices of technology.

Dragons are the most intelligent beings on the planet but their arrogance has blinded them and all dragons only focus on cultivation and increase their strength wasting their potential.

Because of this they also didn't cared of technology, magic and other things and when the dwarves built the weapons with the guidance of Protagonist on his understanding of working of modern weapons dragons lost their war against the forces of west which Ellijah led to have a final confrontation with Eris.

Coming back to his humanoid form Eris had a frown on his face.

His scales once again dematerialised and took the form of the robe he was wearing before.

The dragons don't wear any clothes mainly because they will all get torn apart when performing transformation.

But they do still use their scales which can magically take the shape of any cloth they wish for perfectly fitting them in a matter of seconds without wasting any mana.

"This can't keep going on like this"

"What Lord?"

As Eris muttered to himself Grace who heard him question but Eris didn't say anything or even bothered to turn around.

"Nothing, I will continue with my awakening. I don't know if any complications will arise while doing this you must treat me. Some other true dragons will also be coming here soon to protect me while awakening"

"Yes My Lord"

"RAWR~ RAWR~"

As Eris was instructing Grace sounds of dragon roars sounded in the sky and a few dozens of true dragons could be seen flying towards them.

Eris looked at them for a moment from the side of his eyes and looked away towards the cave and made his way inside the cave.

Grace watches Eris's figure disappearing in the darkness and releases a sigh of relief.

She was truly scared of her lord for the moment because of his anger.

She did admire their lord as he was truly a genius and respected him but was also afraid of him knowing his cruelty and anger.

When Eris first awakened she was scared to wait for him there for even a minute knowing his cultivation base reducing to none but thankfully after getting up their lord was still calm and wasn't angry after losing his cultivation.

As Grace sighed the humongous dragons of size four times more than of her own landed near him.

"I greet the true dragons"

Grace said to the true dragons who appeared near the caves.

Dragons are generally very large in their size and take pride in being so big.

As the hierarchy increases the size the dragons could reach also increases.

Though there are always some exceptional races like hers who are comparatively very small in size.

The true dragons and royal dragons usually have the ability to change their sizes according to their own free will like Shirogane but most of the time they try to look as big as possible.

Though they can change their size according to their will they still can't pass the limits of their natural or original height which grows as they age.

If size is a symbol of Power for the dragons then what about Eris. Why is he so small?

Well it is because even though he had matured faster than other dragons and has grown enough to be counted as an adult it doesn't change the fact that he is still an infant in terms of ages of dragons.

Eris's body and mind has matured but the size of his body increases as they grow older and since he is just 23 now that is why his size is so much smaller at present.

"A holy dragon?"

The giant red colour dragon which transformed into his humanoid form standing at the height over 12 feet with long red hair and gorgeous red eyes said looking at Grace.

"Yes Lord Aiden, I'm Grace the current leader of the ancestral holy dragon clan residing in the sacred dragon forest"

"Lord is currently going through his awakening he has ordered me to take care of him if any complications arise and asked all true dragons coming here to protect him during his awakening"

The true dragons looked at each other and nodded in response.

"Ok Lady Grace, we will do as we have instructed though we doubt any harm will befall upon the Lord during his stay in the middle of these ranges"

"Haha you said true brother Aiden, they all maybe in a deep sleep now once they sense any problems making their way in the here they will all wake up from their slumber and destroy everything"

The other dragon wearing a blue rode with long wavy blue hair and eyes said as he laughed.

Everyone nodded at his comment and looked around the ranges where hundreds of giant caves were present occupied by the dragons who were more than hundred metres in their size or even crossing the size of spanning in kilometres in length.
