Kapitel 170: Chapter 170

Claude didn't intend to fall asleep but he did anyway when he was certain that there would be no further threats to Henri's life that night. It wasn't entirely odd that he hadn't shared a bed with Henri before, they never did sleepovers, too high up in positions of power to enjoy something as mundane as that. He did go over to the Royal castle as often as he was allowed though but even that was limited as they both had daily duties they both had to fulfill.

Claude woke up at dawn, years of being woken up at that exact time made it an ingrained habit. It didn't matter what time he slept, he would always wake up at dawn regardless.

He opened his eyes and suddenly wished that today would be the one day that he would oversleep. Henri was practically lying on him, his curly hair wild and tousled as he slept with his lips slightly parted.
