Silence settles over the waiting worshippers as the lioness is lead out and secured to the bolt in the floor. A feeling of expectancy fills the warehouse with hushed whispers carrying across the vast expanse of the deserted building. The black candles burn and the smell of flesh burning fills the nostrils of the ones gathered to hear his word and to receive his dark blessings.

The altar is in place and the faithful look around in the gloom trying to find the sacrifice that will be offered, but there is nothing, fear ripples across them as they now know that tonight he will call on the worshippers to select the chosen one. Anyone could be chosen and the fear that courses through them is a fear of not being the chosen one. The candles flicker as a draft signals the arrival of the Lion Man.
