Hospital (Part 2)

/"We're staying here a while longer./" Jacob said calmly, breaking me out of my thoughts.

/"The hell you are!/" Bryan spat out.

In a second Jacob was on his feet, his fists clenched.

/"Something isn't right. Tell one of your men to go outside and check the perimeter./" It was Will who had spoken this time, his grey eyes locked with mine once more, swirling with emotions I couldn't quite read. /"Do it./" He ordered, his voice low.

Bryan didn't argue, in a second he rushed outside the room, shouting orders to the other men.

Will's eyes remained locked with mine. A few minutes passed and nothing happened.

Finally I heard the shuffling sound of running feet outside. Bryan burst through the door once more.
