I snoozed. My phone kept buzzing. I didn’t know someone was calling as I slept. A few minutes later, I woke up and saw Shaun sleeping next to me on the couch. Our bodies tangle with each other.

Shaun woke up and rubbed his face.

/"Morning,/" Shaun said.

/"Morning,/" I said, not realizing what I said.

We looked at each other, then my eyes widened. I jerked up as Shaun did the same. I grabbed my phone to see several missed calls from everyone. Then we heard pounding on Shaun’s apartment door.

We got up and ran to the door. Shaun opened it to find my brothers standing there looking piss.

/"Oh, hey, guys,/" I said.

/"Do you mind telling us why you didn’t bother to come home last night?/" Payton asked with his arms crossed.

/"Well, I would, but I can’t because I fell asleep,/" I responded.
