Chapter 113: Interrupted
Camie gasped.
"You can't do that, please. Vivi hasn't done anything wrong.
Vivi rose an eyebrow at the proposal.
"Wow…that is so kind of you, Charlos. You will let this girl go and in exchange, all I have to do is become your fucktoy for the rest of my life. What a generous offer" she gave him a mocking smile.
The bystanders started to tremble when they saw the enraged expression of the Celestial Dragon.
"I'm going to enjoy getting rid of that smile. Guards, capture that pirate! and the mermaid too"
Shouted Saint Charlos.
Two armored guards rushed at her while the man in the black suit stayed at Charlos side.
'That one has to be the main protector, and by his looks, he is probably a CP agent.' Vivi reasoned.
"Soru" Vivi ignored the armored guards and rushed to the CP agent.
"How can you know that move?!" The agent looked shocked but had no time to ask any more questions.
As soon as she was in front of him, she extended her hand to his chest.
"Tekkai!" He did not know what Vivi was going to do so he opted to defend first.
"Shotgun!" Vivi's hand turned onto dozens of water pellets that impacted the body of the agent, inflicting some damage but not much, thanks to his protection.
"Ugg…that won't be enough to beat my tekk-"
Vivi did not let him finish. She aimed her other hand at his crotch.
"Water blast!"
The man was sent flying while emitting a very high-pitched noise.
The two armored guards managed to catch up to her and attacked using their spears.
She let the spears go through her body and punched the first guard so hard that it bent his helmet inward while knocking him out.
"What is this?" The other guard shouted with shock.
Vivi placed a hand on his helmet, turned part of herself into water, and sent it through the open holes of the helmet.
"Noo!...guhhhgg! The guard shallowed water and started to choke.
Vivi ignored the poor guard and turned her gaze to the Celestial Dragon. Just looking at his face, made her angry.
'Control yourself…If I kill this bastard now, they will probably send the full force of the Marines Headquarters and raze this archipelago to the ground.
"Y-You…you have attacked a divine guard. I will make you pay dearly for this offense, you pirate whore!. Once I have you chained in my bed, you will learn your place!" Screamed Saint Charlos.
Something snapped in her mind at that moment.
The next instant, she drove her fist through the stupid fishbowl and broke Saint Charlos nose.
"Ahhh" The Celestial Dragon fell unceremoniously to the ground with blood covering his face.
The bystanders could not believe what they were witnessing. They could never imagine that someone would dare to attack a Celestial Dragon. They all saw them as untouchable figures who rule them from their 'Holy Land'.
Vivi was going to punch Saint Charlos again when someone intervened.
"Room! The area was engulfed in a blue tint. "Shambles"
Vivi and Camie disappeared from their spots and reappeared on the other side of the alley. A man with a white hat, jeans, and a yellow shirt was waiting for them.
"Have you lost your mind? Are you trying to bring every single Marine in the Grand Line to this place?" The man scolded Vivi with a stern expression.
Vivi looked up and immediately recognized the man as Trafalgar Law. She then realized that she has been very close to punching a Celestial Dragon to death.
"Ops…I lost my temper for a moment there."
"Ops?" Law rose an eyebrow. "Is everyone in your crew as crazy as you?"
Vivi smiled. "You have no idea. I am Vivi, by the way."
"I know who you are. You have one of the highest rewards here. I am Trafalgar Law."
Vivi looked at her side and found Camie, who was looking around in confusion.
"What happened? how did we get here?"
"I guess that it involves some devil fruit power" Vivi gave Law a look.
"No matter, we should go find the others, they are probably going crazy, looking for you."
Vivi fixed Camie's dress to cover her mermaid tail again and picked her up bridal style.
"Vivi!." She heard the voice of Zoro.
She spotted him running at her with some girl at his side.
"Really, Zoro?. While everyone was working hard to find the mechanic and get our ship ready, you were picking up girls?" Said Vivi while pointing her finger at him.
"I wasn't picking anyw-"
"We went to Shabondy Park. It was so fun!...well until I got kidnaped again, at least" Said Camie.
Zoro gave Vivi a judgmental look.
"Nevermind that. So, who is this beauty then? " Vivi looked at the other girl and gave her a wink.
"Huh? What is she on about?" Bonney looked confused.
"We don't have time for more introductions. Marines will be swarming this place in a minute. Your actions just now are going to make everyone's stay in Shabody a lot more complicated." Said Law to Vivi.
"I already said that I was sorry!" Defended Vivi.
"You never said sorry! You just said 'ops'." Law pointed out.
"That was me admitting my mistake. That is like half an apology at least." Added Vivi.
"I thought we were in a hurry…" Said Zoro.
"Right, we need to go look for the Captain and the others." Said Vivi.
"But we don't know where they are." Said Zoro.
"If they are looking for a kidnaped mermaid, I bet that they will end up at the auction house sooner or later. We should go there." Suggested Vivi.
"Fine, let's go there then." Zoro agreed.
"Law, lead the way!" Requested Vivi.
"Wait…what?" Said the confused Law.

-I know many of you will be disappointed that she did not kill the noble. But, had she done so, I feel that the response from the Marines would have been a lot stronger than just sending the laziest Admiral... and that could have been doom for the Strawhats.-
