Kapitel 7: Daddy!! and also a bet
Zane's mother used to be a mage at that Avalian mage association, her talent was so great that she climbed through the ranks and became the president of the association at the age of 25, her power was already considered to be on per with an S rank adventure, she met Carl, Zane's father who was a knight king. The knight king was given to the strongest of knights, there could be more than one knight king at a time. Infact it's just one of the rank of a knight but not every body could achieve that, Avalian kingdom only had five knight king including Carl.
There is a law which states that The mage president is not allowed to marry a knight, but the two lovebirds had their mind set on marrying each other, so they both quit and instead became adventures, They instantly became S rank adventures to accumulate enough wealth so as to settle in Carl's village. 5 years after they became adventurers, they both quit being adventures and decide to settle in Carl's village.
Three years later was when Zane came into the picture, Carl was summoned by the king to help in a war, he refused at first but after much persuasion he decided to accept it for the reward of any two wish he wanted. it's been one year since Carl went to the war and sice then he hasn't came back.
Zane was now one year old, he was a fast learner as he could even run around despite being only one year old. "Mum when will father comeback?" Zane asked as he's even forgotten his father's face. "There's word that says the war is over, so he'll be coming back home next week." Sisilia said as Zane let out a smile.
Zane got extra two percent of his power on his birthday making it three percent of his power. "sage show me my info" Zane said.

Zane told the sage to recreate his info similar to and adventure skill card. A high ranking rank f adventurer skill card should be like this.

So with all this i should be on per with an E rank or even d rank adventure, but sage told me I can only get two extra percent of my power until I'm 10, so I'll have to be satisfied.
Zane continued to live his life normally, six days later a man walked in who Zane could hardly even remember as his father, but because of the scar on his face he instantly recognized him. "Daddy,". Zane shouted alerting his mother who rushed out hugging her husband.
The family was once again complete as it now feel happier. "Sisilia, could we maybe relocate to Avalian kingdom, at least I want to give my son a bright future so he should go study, maybe under the mage or knight academy."Carl said. "Why the sudden change of mind, I thought you wanted him to live a normal life in this village." Sisilia said in confusion.
"The world is changing, it's no longer a safe place, I don't want him to be a knight or mage, I just want him to train so that he can protect himself and his family when the time comes." Carl said.
"what do you mean the world is no longer safe?" Sisilia asked. "Dragons, dragons are back, even demon have started to become active. The enemy we fought were no human, it consisted of just two dragons and several hundred demons. but our thousands of army only manage to survive with three hundred survivals, I'm a lucky man, even one of the Knight king ended up dying." Carl said causing Sisilia to exclaim.
"if we go to the kingdom's capital now he won't be able to learn anything, he's only one year old he should at least be five or six." Sisilia said causing Carl to nod his head in agreement. "Then, I guess I'll teach him swordsmanship then you teach him magic within the time limit the one he has more talent in that he'll become." Carl said.
"Then in that case I'm several steps ahead of you." Sisilia said with a smile causing Carl to be confused. "let's all go outside and let Zane show you what he can do." Sisilia said. They all went outside the house but still within their compound, they all stood in front of an enchanted dummy that Carl some times uses for practice.
"watch and see how talented your son is when it comes to magic." Sisilia said as Zane stretched his hand towards the target as flames began to build up in his hand the size of a football. *fire ball* Zane said as he shot the dummy with all he's got causing it to explode. Carl was left speechless for three reasons. "First of all he was able to cast a magic skill at the age of one, he casted a shortened skill where only the names of the skill is mentioned and lastly he destroyed his dummy, even though it was just a level one enchantment it durability was comparable to brick walls so it shouldn't have easily exploded." Carl said.
"so what do you think, just forget about the bet, there's no way his swordsmanship can surpass his magic ability." Sisilia said.
"I've always been able to sense talent in young children, and I can proudly say that he has talent for swordsmanship, so to make it even I'll train Zane in the ways of the sword for one year, then the bet is on." Carl said as they both agreed
