Three days later, Jennie was still not ready to accept reality.

She was not able to see her parents even once during the Arcane Apocalypse, and she regretted not having been at home more often before the Arcane Apocalypse started.

Jennie had been living in the Golden City since her high school days. She had to leave her parents in order to attend the most prestigious high school in the country. Of course, all of that was not meaningless.

Who would bother about the place you got your diploma from, let alone that you have a high school diploma in the first place? If Jennie had known that things would turn out like this, she would have stayed at home to stay side by side with her parents.

But what exactly would that have changed? She would have died alongside her parents. The only difference was that they would have made good memories with each other before the world turned upside down.

The final result would have stayed the same either way.
