The Plagued Monsters pursued the closest source of life, resulting in their focus switching over to Liam. That was everything he needed to barge into the horde of Plagued Monsters like the madman he was as he continued to throw the Black Tarthear needles all around him.

His Arcane Power was rapidly consumed but Liam didn't even think about slowing down. On the contrary, he made sure that the ordinary Plagued Monsters would stop moving after being hit by the activated Black Tarthear needles before accelerating his movements.

He evaded the slow attacks of the Ordinary Plagued Monsters and witnessed their demise seconds after being hit by the needles he released rapidly.
