Kapitel 94: A new dungeon discovery (20)
"She is awake!"
"Who are you?" I spoke as my eyes opened to reveal a harpy stood in front of me.
"I am a harpy, my name is Sammy." The harpy, Sammy, bowed to me.
I nodded as I stood up, "Where is everyone else?"
"They have gone to kill the monsters nearby that decided to attack." Sammy turned her head away from me with a red tinge visible on her face.
"Hm, alright. I can sense them and they aren't too far. They should be returning in about 15 minutes." I said as I stretched my body.
"How do you know that? Also might I ask why you are not surprised to see the harpies here?" The harpy asked, curious yet still had her face turned away from me.
"For the first question, let's just say I have great senses and the second is because I don't care and it's not easy to surprise me."
"I see!" Sammy exclaimed.
I looked around and then myself.
'Ah, I'm not wearing any clothes, though I have bandages on but that's not really covering me.'
"Do you have any clothes I could wear by chance? And some fresh bandages while you're at it."
"We do! I'll go and get them now." Sammy rushed of with a flap of her wings and returned a few seconds later.
She passed me an oversized white shirt, black tracking bottoms and fresh bandages.
"Thank you." I said as I took the clothes.
I began unraveling the bandages that covered my body one by one until only the one that bound my breasts remained.
"My wounds are fully healed, that's good." I said as I unravelled the bandage around my breasts.
I replaced the bandage and then put on the clothes I had been given, only then did the harpy return her gaze to me yet she still had a slightly red face.
"How long have the others been fighting for?"
"They have been out fighting for about an hour and twenty minutes."
"Okay. Thanks for the information."
I turned around and walked towards some trees, jumped and landed on a branch before hooking my legs around them and swinging so I was upside down.
'I remember doing something similar to this when I had my ceremony at Alper.'
I seemed to enjoy hanging off tree branches for some reason but it didn't really effect me in any way so I didn't stop.
After waiting for a while the others returned and when they saw me awake and hanging off of a branch they quickly came over to me.
"Kiera, what are you doing?! You should be resting once you've woken up!" Nova said to me sternly.
"I've already healed though?" I said as I untucked my shirt so it slipped down as I was hanging upside down.
There was no visible injuries nor scars left from the fight, it was as if nothing happened in the first place. I swung myself off the branch and rolled up the tracking bottoms and showed them my legs, "see?" I said before rolling down the clothing but I didn't bother tucking in my shirt.
"Well it's good you're healed but you should still rest." Scarlet said to me in a caring voice.
"Although I appreciate the concern, I am very much alright so there is no need to rest." I looked around and saw a harpy with the group.
The harpy had turquoise green feathers that ended with a blue tinge and had pale skin. Her talons were black and her hair was the same colour as her feathers.

The harpy, noticing my gaze, stepped forth, "Hello, Kiera. I am here on behalf of all the harpies here and we wish for you to become our new leader. This can be for any period of time you wish and if you decline then that is also alright." She bowed to me, "my name is Ruri."
"Ruri.. alright, give me a little time to think. We have about 6 hours before this dungeon forces us to leave anyway, that should be enough time." I gave a slight nod
"Thank you for considering our offer." Ruri bowed before excusing herself and flying back to the group of harpies.
"You're actually considering it?!" Adam shouted.
"Yes I am. It's a relatively good offer anyway. I'll be able to exit the dungeon at anytime and I can train in here so it's pretty good."
"What if they try to fight you and sabotage you or poison you or.. or-" Tess started.
"It'll be fine. Even if they do decide that, they won't beat me. They would've tried that with the ogre and I breath the ogre so that's impossible."
"Don't go.."
"There is time differences from inside the dungeon and outside. One year in here is a day outside of it. I won't be gone for long even if I do accept."
"If that's what you want Kiera." Tess said dejectedly.
"Don't worry about me Tess." I spoke with confidence to reassure her.
"I agree with Kiera, this'll be great for her." Scarlet butted in, placing a hand on Tess's shoulder.
"Alright, I get it." Tess sighed.
"Thanks for understanding." I said as I walked off.
'I'll also be able to use my true form in here without any worries.' I thought as I walked away from the group and found a quite spot for myself and jumped into a tree.
I climbed to the top and sat on a branch, trying to get as comfy as possible.
I sat there in silence for an hour, feeling the breeze and listening to the nature before sensing a presence approaching me.
"Yuki, come up here." I said as a white fox with wings and three tails flew up and sat on my lap.
"*yip**yip**yap**yip*." Yuki said as she rubbed herself against me. -> "are you going to stay with the harpies? It seems like a good idea but I want to stay with you. We only just got back together and you're already leaving me?"
"Yes, I've already decided to stay here but I'll wait a little longer before saying and also you can stay with me since you aren't human."
"*yap*?" -> "that's possible?"
"Yes it is. It also applies to me, that's why I can stay here."
Yuki nodded before curling up in a ball and squishing against my abdomen.
"Yuki, we'll try get you your fourth tail so you gain a beast human form, okay?"
"*yap*" -> "looking forward to it."
I stayed in the tree with Yuki for another hour before jumping down with Yuki in my arms and made my way to Ruri.
"Hello, Ruri, Sammy and others." I said as I approached the harpies, "I've decided, I accept your request. I'll be your new leader."
Cheering rang out from all members of the harpy race and I was showered in thanks.
"Thank you, our queen!"
"Thanks to the queen!"
"What a glorious day!"
"We are deeply thankful for this, your majesty!"

"No need for all the cheering, I must tell my group as well before they leave."
"Understood, your majesty the queen." Ruri bowed down followed by every other harpy present and I nodded, walking to my group.
"Ah, Kiera! Have you decided?" Scarlet turned to me.
"Yes I have, I'll be staying here with the harpies and I will return at a later date. Do not worry about me not being able to get back to Harpsferd as I've learned to fly using magic."
"You can fly? That's amazing!" Nova said with excitement.
"If that's your decision then I won't go against it but make sure you stay safe no matter what, understood?" Scarlet spoke with a stern voice.
"Understood." I quickly replied.
"Well, we better pack everything before we leave. Kiera, since you are staying, feel free to do what you want."
"I'll help you pack up."
"You're so lucky Kiera." Catherine spoke, "You get to stay here and gain lots of battle experience and live with harpies! That's so cool."
"Maybe if you weren't so stupid and lazy, they would have chosen you." Terry laughed. I shrugged.
After we finished packing up everything there was only a couple minutes before our group would be forced out of the dungeon with the exception of myself and Yuki. Although Tess was a dragon, like me, she didn't agree in staying in the dungeon and the creatures that live in the dungeon didn't wish for her to stay so the dungeon would force her out with everyone else.
"Goodbye everyone, have safe travels." I said as I felt the mana fluctuating around the group I entered with.
"Goodbye Kiera." They replied.
Tess ran at me and gave me a massive hug. "I'll miss you, even if it's for a day."
'How should I reply to this?'
"I'll miss you too?" I replied but not to sure of what was appropriate to respond with.
"Bye, Kiera." Tess said as her body was forced out of the dungeon.
All that was left was me and the harpies. A couple of monsters hiding as well but they weren't important.
"Your majesty, we shall take you to where our homes are." Ruri spoke.
"Lead the way." I said as I turned towards them.
