Kapitel 3: [God Kin] ?
It's been 3 days since Noah has gotten his system and he has been getting rewarded everyday. Although, he knew that he will get some power but he expected it to be either in Yggdrasil or in the new world. But these rewards he got were very helpful in his real life and will probably be useful in the future too. As for how he got these rewards ? He didn't knew, he would just randomly get rewarded for doing something very minuscule to something very difficult.
Yesterday, he was just sitting on the couch, watching anime and after finishing the anime, he received a notification.
{Ding! You've watched the series ' Dream Rider'. You've bee rewarded with [Enhanced Vision]}
He knew that these rewards will be useless, after he gets to thew New World but they were pretty useful for now. Because these were real supernatural level abilities. The enhanced vision does as told, it enhances his vision to the degree, he can see an ants face and even small details on it.
Noah sighed a little, sitting on his bed with his new VR gear that he has just set up yesterday. His sister also wanted to play with him, but he said that she'll have to wait for it to release publically, because he was a beta player.
Reluctantly, she agreed but in return, she asked him to spend more time with her. Though he didn't knew how he could do that, weren't they already together almost all day.
Noah thought that his sister was a little too obsessed with him. Although, he didn't mind. He thought she is at the age where she should get a boyfriend but here she was without any boyfriend or even any guy friends. Maybe Noah was one of the reasons for that, because he didn't wanted any bad boys to hang around her. But again, they spend most of their time in home.
Maybe it would be better to just take her with him, Noah thought. But he also knew the new world was dangerous. That's why he wanted to make preparations, so he can enjoy the new world for what it has to offer. While also exploring the entire world and not just the continent that ainz was situated in.
After plugging his neuro transmitter behind his nape where a small hole was present. He laid down, resting his head then he wore the head gear and said,
" Link start." He said it in a fluent English despite him being Japanese. Why ? Because he got one of the very helpful and best reward from the system, it was [All Language Mastery].
It not only made him learn all languages but even made him fleunt in every language, that he can hear or read for once . He can read and write without any grammer mistakes (AN : it's not true for me though. >.<). It was truly supernatural, how his system just made him a master of all languages.
After saying link start. The world around him changed and he appeared in a place where a big screen was in front of him and the logo of "Yggdrasil" was shining in golden, as if waiting to be played.
Although, it was Noah's first time using VR gear, he didn't felt weird because he also got an ability for VR games. [Virtual Reality Mastery], it litteraly gave him many knowledge about VR games and how to fight in the VR world. It was a very useful ability for him, who was going to be spending much of his time in a VR game now.
But still for the first time, Noah felt that being in the VR world was really something, Cause it didn't felt real but at the same time it was. It's pretty confusing. The world around him felt very real but in a low quality. That's the only way to describe it.
However, without paying anything any mind, Noah decided to just dive into the game.
He tapped into the glowing Yggdrasil logo and found himself in another place.
A game screen immediately popped in front of him.
[Welcome to Yggdrasil, Player]
[Would you like to start the tutorial]

Noah decided to start the tutorial and not skip it. After all, if he wanted to get the best build and be powerful to have fun, then he needed to understand the mechanics and the level and class systems of Yggdrasil. Noah knew some Mechanics of Yggdrasil from his memories but it wasn't that clear.
After pressing yes, Noah red through the tutorial screen and understood the game Mechanics, and as expected. Unlike in the anime the game mechanics were a lot more complicated in real life.
When the time to choose his race appeared, Noah already had made plans as to what race to choose. But to his surprise, he heard his system notification in his head. No! Not the game system but his own reward system, as he calls it.
{Congratulations! You have been rewarded a special race [God Kin]}
Noah heard these words and the unassuming normal game panel in front of him, that had only three race, appeared yet another a 4th race with the words [God Kin], shining in a brilliant golden colour.
" A god kin ? Weren't those just the children of players from Yggdrasil?" Noah thought, he didn't understood why he got the race, God kin. Were these same as the godkins in the new world ? Noah didn't knew, but what he knew was that system only wanted his best and every reward of system was magnificent and a blessing. So, without a second thought, he choosed the fourth race and to his surprise, no racial classes came for him to choose, probably indicating that the race only had one class. Although, it confused him greatly, he decided to just get on with it And dive into the game.
After choosing the race, another panel appeared before him showing his avatar.
Which was to say very beautiful would be an understatement. It was very perfect. Yes! It was perfect.
Noah saw that all the adjustments for the Avatar wete unavailable, except the hair colour and eye colour, which he found particularly interesting and amusing. But he didn't mind it, because he felt that the body was perfect for him. A leane yet toned body without any bulk, it made him look sophisticated. Noah was someone who didn't liked buff people, who look like they are carrying mountains on their body. He preferred a toned and lean body that has only little muscles to indicate his proud gender. And it won't matter in the new world how he looks, because his power would speak for itself.
He changed his eye colour to a deep amethyst, and his hair to pure angelic white, he customized his hair to be long and tied in a beautiful pony that accented his avatars look even more. Noah found his avatar to be very pleasing to his eyes. Although it was androgynous, it was handsome too. If one can give example, it was like a tomboyish girl but due to his body, it made sure to make people know that it was boy. He almost felt himself feeling a little shocked at how good his avatar looked. If he was a girl, he would surely marry himself, just based on looks obviously.
" At this point, i might as well become adonis. Hehe."
After closing the panel and customising his character, Noah looked at the panel that appeared. It was showing 9 places he can spawn into.
Asgard, Helheim, Midgard, Jötunheim, Músspelsheim, Niflheim, Nidavellir, Vanaheim and Alfheim. These were 9 world's of Yggdrasil. The game is all based around the exploration of these 9 realms.
Noah's avatar was that of an human and his race was none of the three, that means, he didn't had any normal racial debuffs he would receive from going to any specific world. He can go to any world but going into Niflheim was what he was planning before, as he thought he'll choose the race of angel and advance his racial class into arch angel before becoming more powerful but now that he had a special race, he didn't knew what he would become, a magic castor with high MP bar or a powerful warrior with high attack stats. Or something that will allow him to do both. Noah felt the need to find and exploit Yggdrasil to make a perfect charchter that can weild both magic and physical might.
After contemplating for a while, he decided to choose Asgard. Because his appearance was that of an humanoid and he can pass through as a human pretty easily. Not to mention, that his avatar was also pretty good looking, well. that was an understatement but still... And he doesn't expect many players to stumble upon him in the first place. In fact, he was hoping he doesn't stumble into any players. Well... Until he becomes strong atleast. So being in a place surrounded with humans will work well, untill he leveled up enough to save himself from any pking, that might happen in the future.
There would be at most 1000 players playing. He assumed there would be no chance of anyone pking each other on the first day of their beta test playing but still being careful, he decided to spawn into Asgard.
After choosing his spawning location a timer appeared, going from 10 to 9 and onward.
As the timer reached 0, a white light flashed and he found himself into grassy terrain. Surrounded by gaint trees and lush green grass with the chirping of different birds and animals around him. When he looked into the distance, he was able to see a beautiful rainbow bridge, connecting to a majestic castle that stood tall touching the sky. Flying with majesty were dragons near the castle of Asgard.
Noah was amazed at how realistic it all looked but he was still Able to discern that the VR was was a fake world. Even though he got the [Virtual Reality Mastery], it was still his first time in a VR Game and he can't help but feel a little excited. His senses, like smell and taste were restricted, due to it being too much dangerous for both players and companies running the game.
While Noah was looking around, he noticed a green shadow passing by near a large tree. A little anticipated as to what it might be, he decided to follow the shadow and saw a green Goblin walking by the forest alone.
Noah decided it was the best time to see how the games leveling system works, so he opened the system interface of the game.
As a bonus, every beta player got to choose any one weapon. Well... they weren't any divine weapon or something but they were still valuable for level 1 players.
Noah took a deep breath, even though he knew he couldn't and touched the game interface, scrolling through different weapons, untill he found the one that he would like to use.
A sword, Yes! a normal short sword, that was perfect for him to kill the goblin. If Noah wanted, he could've gotten some other weapon. Like spears and bow that would make the Killing more easy for him. And might even be more cool. But he liked swords more. He was someone who has watched many anime and read multitudes of mangas and one thing he had experienced was the swords that most of the charachars wield. Noah didn't knew what's the reason for everyone wielding swords but for him, swords were the coolest. They can be stylish, and you'll look cool while holding one.
Moving closer stealthily near the goblin, Noah decided to jump behind it and sliced right at the fatal point of any creature, neck and the brain. Noah immediately stabbed the neck first and pulled the sword out, Noah then stabbed the brain as the goblin monster vanished, turning into light particles of green colour, indicating it's death. What made him even more sure of his kill was the game interface.

Just as he was seeing his notification of gaining exp, he heard another notification but not of the game. But of his own system, his reward system as he called it.
{Congratulations! You have killed your first monster. You have Been rewarded permanent 15 times exp boost}
Noah was surprised. No, it would be wrong to call it surprised because he was already aware that sooner or later, he would be getting crazy Yggdrasil rewards when he finally got into the game and as expected he wasn't disappointed at all. But still, it came as a surprise. He expected the rewards to be more like some items. But it seems like his system was able to manipulate reality to give him rewards. What a convenient system.
15 times exp boost, And permanent at that. That means he can level up 15 times faster then any other player. That in itself was monstrous right now but it would be outright game breaking in the future, when he reaches level 50, where leveling gets hard. It'll be easy for him, because it wouldn't be as hard as others for him to level up. And who knows.. the game might give even more boost by that time.
Noah was satisfied as he looked at the drop items the goblin gave. It was a single goblin ear and goblin club, but there was also a pretty interesting thing that he might have recognised.
" [Horn of The Goblin General] ? "
Noah knew about this item, even though he has never played Yggdrasil before. Why ? Because he has seen it in the anime of overlord. It was the same horn given to the villager girl, enri to summon goblins. It had pretty interesting affects in the new world and depending on the situation, it can summon different types of goblins it seems.
Finding it interesting he obviously turned on auto loot, that stored all the items and drops in his inventory. Right now his inventory was small, having only 64 slots where each slot can hold 99 items. But soon he'll have infinite storage because he was sure, wether it's the system or money, he can get that through anything.
" Now, let's get to the grinding!" Leaving those words, Noah entered the forest with a straight back going without even looking around. Right now, he didn't even checked his status for he was waiting for his racial class to level up to max, before he looked at his massive rewards.
