The creature took us to the deeper floor of hell and each level was different. I saw the second level was made of an icy cold place. The cold air was painful and it almost takes a lot of my energy to just walk past it. I can't imagine the people who are in it. The third floor was the hot dry open space desert. I manage to peek at it and see how close are the sun from the human head and it burning them. The fourth floor was even worse, I saw nothing but dark but people screaming from inside. The fifth floor was unbearable for me to stand on. I don't want to fall on this creature's palm, even the palms are disgusting and sticky to my shoes. We reach the deepest level of hell, the 7th floor. It was silent and empty. The creature put us down at the front big gate, it was a human living gate.
"I'm not gonna touch it," I say in a shaky tone.
"Fine," says Jarrel. He reaches out to the gate to touch but before he manages to hold it the gate opens up by itself. I quickly hold Jarrel's left arm and we walk inside. Then suddenly a man appear in front of us, he was beautiful and so majestic. Jarrel looked at the man as the man walked towards us.
"Looks like a guest coming into my house. An uninvited guest." says the man. He was so gorgeous and even his voice is sweet.
"Lucifer," Jarrel mentions the man's name.
"Jarrel the guardian. Why are you here?" He asked.
"I come to see you for some matter."
"I see you brought the blessed child with you. She got the blood vein of my favorite girl." Lucifer suddenly stands on my back. I can sense his breath.
"Yes, she is one of the chosen ones," explained Jarrel.
"My dear, you smell so delicious and yet so rotten to the core. Why are you in here?" He asked me a question from behind. My whole body was shaking and I knew this is a bad choice! This man is dangerous and being in his presence was enough to choke me. I couldn't answer him at all.
"My dear. Why aren't you answering me?" he asked again, only this time Jarrel stop him from touching me.
"It's me who wants to meet you, not her." Jarrel looks annoying.
"Fine. We shall talk in my chamber!" Lucifer walks past me and heads open his door. The inside was so fancy yet so horrible with all the human organ parts hanging around, and a floor made of human bones.
"Come and join me as I was having dinner with my Lilith." I didn't let go of Jarrel arm, not even a second.
"No, thanks. We are full," says Jarrel, he holds on onto my hands.
"You really that scared?" he whisper to me. I nodded. Jarrel let out a smile. Smirking his way to tease me. We arrived at the dining table, it was a star only it was upside down. Then a lady stands up from her seat walking towards us. She was so beautiful and charming. She walks past Lucifer and heads to where Jarrel and I stand. She takes a look at Jarrel and puts her hands all over Jarrel's chest. She leans in for a kiss but Jarrel turns his head away from her. She smiled in satisfaction.
"Long time no see Guardian," she says in a seductive tone.
"You never changed, Lilith," respond Jarrel. Then she steps back from Jarrel and she's giving me a sharp gaze. She wasn't friendly to me. She took a quick sniff at me and her facial reaction changed almost immediately.
"You smelled the same as the whore!" She raises her tone and her frustration shows up.
Lucifer walked to Lilith and put his arms on her, they were whispering. But soon after Lilith calm down and take her seat at the dining table.
"Who's the whore?" I asked Jarrel, hoping to get an answer from him.
"Eve, her twin sister," says Jarrel.
"I have no time to play around. So I'll just go straight to the point. I want the sword of rebellion." Jarrel seems perfectly calm and he doesn't even feel overwhelmed.
"The sword of rebellion? My sword?" Lucifer asked. He takes his seat at the table and starts to cut down his meat.
"Yes, I need it to bring back to heaven and meet the Creator. He wants it." Lucifer's facial reaction changed when Jarrel mention the Creator. He seems angry.
"The Creator sent you down here to fetch things for him? I guess you are nothing but a dog!" scream Lilith from her seat.
"I don't come here to create a problem. He knew you might not give up the sword easily since that sword was a gift from the Creator himself. So He wants me to say these particular words. So listen carefully. "Surrender your swords to him or I say put down the agreement and begin your punishment at this very moment." that's what he told me to tell you."
"You are lucky enough to stay alive after saying those orders!" Lucifer seems to have no other choice but to obey. He screams and says something in a different language, then two hellbound creatures carrying a gold box. He took out the swords from the box and hand them to Jarrel.
"Take it back!" Jarrel took the sword from him and Lucifer seems furious, watching Jarrel touch the sword. No one in hell, not even Lilith ever touched the sword.
"I guess this is farewell," says Jarrel. The hell-kind creature stares at us as we fade away and vanish. The next thing I know, I was back in my class. Jarrel two men were waiting for us to return.
"Good work captain!" says one of the men.
"You can let go of my arms now," says Jarrel, I look at him and let him go. He stretches his right arm moving his arm in rotation. He smiled.
"That is Lucifer?!" I shouted loud and cover my mouth with my hands. I'm too shocked at this. What is happening? I just went to Hell and come back alive?
"Yes, the fallen angel. Why?" Jarrel asked. He looks delighted.
"I just... Speechless.." I seat on the floor and feel my heartbeat. It was exciting and scary at the same time. Jarrel walks to me and put his hand on my shoulders.
"You did well as a first-timer." he praise me. Even behind that ugly mask, I knew he was smiling.
"You! Asshole!" I slap him hard and he was caught off guard. He falls to the ground.
"What are you doing?!" says one of his men, but Jarrel stop them. I knew they were mad at me, but I was angrier than them.
"Little girl.." he corrected his mask and look at me. I knew he was mad.
"You psycho! First, you wrote all the scary messages at my house, and the second time you even write them with blood! Are you insane?! If you wanted me to go with you to Hell, just straight up and meet me! Not scaring me that way!" I loved my guts sometimes.
"Bloody messages? I don't have any time to spare and play with you. You mistaken. It wasn't me." Jarrel stands up and inhales the air.
"Wait! What?! You're saying you don't know anything about it? Aren't you watching me or keeping a tab on me?" I asked again.
"I don't." he responds.
"Captain. We need to go now." says one of the men, Jarrel nods and he takes a look at me.
"I will come to you again, in the time being stay safe. They might try to harm you in any possible way, especially the snake woman." I knew who's the one he mentioned but I have nothing to protect myself from.
"What on earth do I need to do? To protect me?" I asked.
"Become the guardian. That's the only way to protect yourself." Jarrel passed me a necklace, a green crystal.
"What is this for? Transforming me into a guardian?" I asked sarcastically.
"It's to mask your present and protect you for a while." Jarrel walks toward his men.
"Wait how do I even active it?"
"It's your life, use your small brain Little girl." Jarrel vanishes along with the two men. And my class resumes back in its on time.
"Wait!" I shout out, then all my classmates and the professor look at me.
"Yes, Mayumi-san. You have a question?" asked the professor. I laugh awkwardly.
"Ah, it's nothing. Please carry on, I'm sorry." I take back my seat and hold on to the green crystal.
How am I supposed to know the way to use it?
If he's not the one who's been playing with me then who else?
What does this mean? A third person?
I can't focus on my class right now. Too many questions to ask.
Jarrel are you lying?
