After taking a few steps, Alex halted his movements as he decided to let them come to him instead of him going to them. It was after all good for good 'children' to bring themselves so that they could be punished than the 'parent' going after them. Alex wanted to play the role of a parent and he really wanted to discipline these unfilial children.

Seeing that Alex had stopped, they thought that Alex had gotten back to his senses and thus they began chuckling before they stood about two meters from him. "Looks like you are back to your senses finally," commented one of the 'children'.

Alex simply shook his head and didn't comment about what the idiot had said. Being a rank 3 now, he could easily deal with this group because even the one that was leading them was only an initial stage Rank 2. Comparing him with the monsters found in the tower was like disrespecting them because even a rank 1 peak stage monster could easily deal with him.
